The Kings might not have All-Star guard De’Aaron Fox and thus are four-point underdogs on the NBA odds.

Warriors vs. Kings NBA Playoff Betting Odds

With Golden State winning Game 4 by a score of 126-125 at home to tie the series at 2-2, the Warriors are now -263 on the series line with the Kings +190. On the series handicap, Sacramento at +1.5 games is -154 and Golden State -1.5 games is +115.

That the series finishes in six is -128 and in seven at -103. The favoured exact result is Warriors in six at -118 and the long shot is Kings in six at +1023. The series returns to San Francisco on Friday. As the No. 6 seed, the Warriors probably figured they’d never have home-court advantage in a playoff series this postseason, but they would have it next round if the seventh-seeded Los Angeles Lakers are able to eliminate the No. 2 Memphis Grizzlies and LA is up 3-1. That Game 5 from Memphis is also Wednesday.

Sacramento is 6-2 ATS in the past eight meetings.

Golden State Warriors

Steph Curry is a future first-ballot Hall of Famer who arguably has revolutionized the NBA more than any player in the past 20 years as now every kid wants to shoot deep three-pointers like Curry does. Yet Curry almost had a moment of infamy in Game 4 against Sacramento as he called a late timeout the Warriors didn’t have – a la Michigan’s Chris Webber all those years ago in the national title game vs. North Carolina. It led to a Kings four-point play and cut Golden State’s lead to 126-125. However, Curry caught a major break when Sacramento’s Harrison Barnes missed a three-pointer at the buzzer for the win. Had he made it, Curry’s reputation is soiled. He led the Dubs with 32 points, while Klay Thompson had 26 and Jordan Poole 22. Draymond Green returned from a one-game suspension, but Coach Steve Kerr opted to start Poole and bring Green off the bench. He had 12 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists. The Warriors haven’t won a road game in this series yet but have won at least one road game in 27 straight playoff series. Golden State is 0-5-1 ATS in its past six Wednesday games.

Sacramento Kings

The big news out of Game 4 for the Kings on top of the loss was a fractured finger suffered on the shooting hand (left) of All-Star guard De’Aaron Fox. He’s listed as doubtful for Game 5 but will try to play through it. Fox would need to wear a protective covering on his left index finger, which would affect southpaw’s ability to dribble, pass and shoot. Fox has been the best player in the series, averaging 31.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 2.5 steals. Davion Mitchell would likely start in his place if Fox can’t go. The Kings went 4-5 without Fox during the regular season. Mitchell started all nine of those games, averaging 9.2 points and 4.0 assists. He might be a better defender than Fox but isn’t in the same league offensively. Top reserve Malik Monk will also take on additional ballhandling duties if Fox is unable to play. The Kings are 10-3 ATS in their past 13 after a loss.
