Can anybody stop the Golden State Warriors right now? This team has the best record in the league at 17-2 and has scored over 100 points in 42 straight contests. This is all without Klay Thompson by the way. The Warriors are heading into a tough stretch of games on the road, though, starting off with the Los Angeles Clippers. Los Angeles has been cruising along despite being without Kawhi Leonard. These two teams met during the first week of the season with Golden State barely escaping with a two-point win.

The Warriors are undefeated against the spread (ATS) in their last four games when coming into the matchup on one day of rest. They are also 10-1 ATS in their last 11 when lining up against a team with a winning straight-up record on the season. Golden State has only covered once in the past five meetings with the Clippers though.
On the other hand, the over has been able to cash out in six of the Clippers’ last seven games when the team is coming off a straight-up win. The best shooter of all time was able to drop 45 on this squad early on in the season when they first matched up. He is also the leading candidate for the MVP award this far into the season behind his excellent play offensively. Nobody has quite been able to match up with Golden State offensively all season long and it will be hard for anybody to do so in the future. This group has won their last three games by a combined 50 points with all three of those teams being firmly mixed into the playoff picture. Curry and the Warriors are on pace for 73 wins.
Los Angeles Clippers
Without Leonard, these Clippers rely heavily on Paul George. He has delivered, averaging 25.6 points, 7.6 rebounds and 5.2 assists per game. However, George can’t win every game by himself. Reggie Jackson is the true x-factor of this Clippers team right now and we saw it last season in the playoffs when he was a surprise contributor. Jackson was held to just 11 points on 4-for-19 shooting from the field in the previous matchup against Golden State. If he is ineffective once again, the Clippers are likely to lose again.
