The Clippers the travel to Phoenix Tuesday for a bout with the only Western club ahead of the Warriors in the standings. Golden State’s comfortably in second in the West at 42-15 and 2.5 games up on third-place Memphis. The Clippers meanwhile are in the middle of a playoff race, positioned in eighth at 28-30.
Los Angeles is returning from a three-game road trip in which they went 1-2 but ended on a positive note with a 99-97 win at Dallas Saturday. The Warriors broke a two-game skid on Saturday, defeating the Lakers 117-115.
Tip-off at Crypto.com Arena is 10:30 p.m. EST, with Golden State a 5.5-point favourite on the road and the over-under at 222.5 on the NBA odds.
Warriors vs. Clippers NBA Betting Odds
The Warriors on a tough stretch against the spread, going 0-4-1 in the last five. Los Angeles has covered in one of their last six overall. And the Clippers are one of the weaker teams when it comes to covering at home with a 12-17 home ATS record on the season.
Monday’s the third of four meetings between these clubs this season. The Warriors took each of the first two, defeating L.A. 115-113 in their season opener and 105-90 on November 28. Steph Curry combined for 78 points and 15 made three-pointers in the two victories.

It was the other Splash Brother taking over on Saturday versus the Lakers as Klay Thompson dropped a season-high 33 points, 16 coming in the final quarter, in the two-point dub. Thompson’s averaged 17.9 points in 14 games this season, his lowest average since 2012–13 — but remember this comes after missing two seasons with several major injuries.
The Warriors allowed over 110 points for the sixth straight time, which is uncharacteristic considering the are third in the NBA with 103.2 points allowed per outing. The Clippers are one of the league’s lowest-scoring teams though, averaging 106.2 a night.
Los Angeles Clippers
Saturday was Reggie Jackson’s turn to lead L.A. in scoring, finishing with a team-high 24 in the win over Dallas. Jackson became the fourth Clipper to lead the team in scoring in as many games, as L.A. remains without stars Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. Norm Powell missed Saturday with turf toe and his status is uncertain for Monday.
Powell came over from Portland last week and has averaged 21 points in three games with L.A. The number is also Powell’s season average, which is second on the team behind George. In his nine-year career, Powell has never finished averaging 20 or more points in a season.
