Oklahoma City Thunder vs. San Antonio Spurs Game 3 Prediction, NBA Odds
Of course. In a matchup between the NBA’s two winningest teams this season, the San Antonio Spurs and Oklahoma City have split the first two games of their Western Conference Final series. The series moves to San Antonio for Game 3 tonight at 8:30 p.m. ET.
In Game 2, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander lived up to his back-to-back league MVP billing with a game-high 30 points as the Thunder evened the series with a 122-113 triumph on Wednesday evening. The Thunder held a 57-25 advantage in bench scoring and a 27-10 advantage in points off turnovers.
San Antonio got 25 points, 8 assists, and five rebounds from Stephon Castle and 21 points, 17 rebounds, and six assists from Victor Wembanyama, but also lost emerging rookie guard Dylan Harper in the third quarter.
Thunder vs. Spurs NBA Betting Odds
San Antonio is a slight, 2.5-point favourite at home tonight. The Spurs are -130 on the money line, while Oklahoma City is +110. San Antonio has won five of seven meetings with the Thunder this season, including both games in San Antonio. The Spurs are 8-3 straight up and against the spread in their last 11 games overall. OKC has won nine of 10 this postseason, and is 4-2 against the spread in its last six games, but it is just 2-5 ATS against the Spurs this season.
The Over/Under sits at 217.5 points. San Antonio has played to the Over in each of its last seven games, while Oklahoma City has played to the Over in each of its last five. The Thunder have also played to the Over in six straight road contests.
Oklahoma City Thunder
The Thunder got big contributions from lesser-used players on Tuesday. Isaiah Hartenstein, who barely played in the series opener, had 10 points and 13 rebounds and was a thorn in Wemby’s side all night. Cason Williams and Jared McCain each had 12 points, while Ajay Mitchell added 10. Alex Caruso had 17 points and five assists as well.
Each of those contributions mattered as the Thunder lost Jalen Williams yet again to the same left hamstring soreness that has already forced him to miss six playoff games. The team’s third-leading scorer in the regular season left after just seven minutes on Tuesday. He is questionable for tonight’s game. Mitchell shone during Williams’s absence earlier this postseason and may be asked to do so again this evening.
San Antonio Spurs
The Spurs did what they had to do: get a split in Oklahoma City. But at what cost? The team was already without All-Star guard De’Aaron Fox for the first two games. His replacement in the starting lineup, emerging rookie Dylan Harper, left Tuesday’s contest in the third quarter with a right adductor/leg injury. He had 12 points.
Devin Vassell scored 22 points, and the sixth-year guard, who has fallen into the shadows with the emergence of San Antonio’s youngsters, may be asked for a similar scoring output tonight. Castle, the league’s reigning Rookie of the Year, is a superstar in the making, but he still needs to hold onto the ball. He has 20 turnovers in the first two games of this series. That’s four more than he had in six games against the Timberwolves in the last round. He needs to clean that up quickly.

NBA Prediction: Who Will Win Thunder vs. Spurs?
OKC got it back to even on Tuesday, but look for the Spurs, despite multiple injury concerns in the backcourt, to retake the series lead tonight. Take the Spurs to win and cover, 118-113.
