Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Los Angeles Clippers Prediction, NBA Odds

Only three games remain in the 2025-26 NBA regular season, and the top seed in the Western Conference, the Oklahoma City Thunder (63-16), meet the current No. 8 seed Los Angeles Clippers (41-38). The Clippers are cemented in the NBA Play-In and could be spit out in Oklahoma City in the first round as a result of surviving that chaos.

Both teams are on the second night of a back-to-back tonight, and both played in LA last night.  The Thunder took care of the injury-riddled Lakers, and the Clippers got the better of the Cooper Flagg-led Mavericks, reaching 41 wins to guarantee a season of .500 or better.

OKC is a 7.5-point favourite to win on the NBA odds, with the total set at 226.5.

Thunder vs. Clippers NBA Betting Odds

The Thunder are looking for a season sweep of the Clippers. OKC won 126-107 on November 4 and 122-101 on December 18. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 30+ in each meeting, and Isaiah Joe has 10 made threes and 36 total points off the bench against the Clippers this year.

It’s important to note the Thunder haven’t seen the Clippers since they were 6-21 and played against a James Harden and Ivica Zubac-led team, both of whom are elsewhere now. Kawhi Leonard was not healthy for either meeting, and Bennedict Mathurin and Darius Garland were not yet in LA.

Oklahoma City Thunder

The Thunder are 18-1 since reigning MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who is gunning for consecutive honours, returned from injury on February 27. In the Thunder’s 123-87 win over the Lakers last night, no starter logged more than 28 minutes, and SGA led with 25 points.

Over the last 15 games, the Thunder rank eighth in offensive rating, second in defensive rating, sixth at taking care of the ball, eighth at limiting opponent free-throw attempts, ninth at forcing turnovers, ninth in points off turnovers, first at limiting points off turnovers, second at limiting opponent fast-break points and second at limiting opponent points in the paint.

Los Angeles Clippers

The Clippers are 35-17 since late December and are 7-2 in their last nine. Since Mathurin began playing for the Clippers, LA is 14-8. Since Garland joining the team, they are 11-5.

Last night, in their 116-103 win over the Mavericks, Kawhi Leonard continued his hot play, pouring in 34 points while nailing six triples. Darius Garland added 22 points on 50 per cent shooting.

Over the last 15 games, the Clippers are fifth in offensive rating, 13th in defensive rating, first at limiting opponent free-throw attempts, first at forcing turnovers and first at limiting fast-break points. They will need to be on point once again in all those areas if they stand a chance of slowing down OKC.

NBA Prediction: Who Will Win Thunder vs. Clippers?

The Thunder are trying to stave off the San Antonio Spurs for the top seed in the Western Conference, but I think the Clippers’ near 40 per cent three-point shooting as of late matches up well with a Thunder defence that allows opponents to get hot from downtown. The way the Clippers have taken care of the ball and forced turnovers while limiting free throws and fast-break points, paired with Kawhi Leonard’s elite three-level scoring and playmaking, should enable LA to challenge this elite Thunder team. I still expect OKC to prevail 113-109, but it won’t be easy.
