The injury-ravaged Oklahoma City Thunder visit the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight at Rocket Arena, with tipoff scheduled for 7 p.m. ET.

Both teams enter at 4-2, but they are heading in opposite directions.

Oklahoma City has suffered consecutive blowout defeats after opening the season with four victories, while Cleveland has won four of its last five games.

The Cavaliers are coming off a convincing 136-111 victory over Milwaukee on Saturday, while the Thunder fell 119-98 to Houston.

Thunder vs. Cavaliers NBA Betting Odds

Money Line: Oklahoma City Thunder(+151), Cleveland Cavaliers (-181)

Points Spread: Oklahoma City Thunder +4.5 (-118), Cleveland Cavaliers -4.5 (-110)

Points Total: Over 228.5 (-118)/ Under 228.5 (-110)

The Cavaliers are 4.5-point favourites at -181 on the money line. Oklahoma City is listed at +151. The total is 228.5 points. Cleveland has won three consecutive home games.

The Thunder swept their two meetings last season, defeating Cleveland 136-104 at home and 121-113 on the road. However, Oklahoma City has lost its last two games by 24 and 21 points, respectively, after winning its first four contests.

Oklahoma City Thunder

A devastating series of injuries has derailed the Thunder’s promising start. Three starters are sidelined: Chet Holmgren with a right knee injury, Jalen Williams with a fractured left fibula and dislocated ankle, and Cason Wallace following shoulder surgery.

Veteran guard Alex Caruso is also unavailable because of an ankle injury, while Thomas Sorber and Nikola Topic are also out. Those absences have placed enormous pressure on two-time reigning MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

The Canadian guard scored 26 points against Houston, but Oklahoma City struggled offensively throughout Saturday’s defeat. The Rockets built a 27-point advantage, exposing the Thunder’s depleted rotation.

Ajay Mitchell managed just six points after scoring a combined 59 in his previous two appearances. Jared McCain added 10 points but missed all five of his three-point attempts.

Oklahoma City must find additional scoring support while improving its defensive execution against Cleveland’s powerful frontcourt.

Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cavaliers delivered their most convincing performance of the young season Saturday, overwhelming Milwaukee behind dominant interior play.

Evan Mobley scored a season-high 27 points, while Jarrett Allen contributed 25 points, 11 rebounds and four assists. The two big men combined for 52 points on 23-of-32 shooting, consistently exploiting mismatches around the basket. Their performance should provide an encouraging blueprint against an Oklahoma City team missing Holmgren in the middle.

Donovan Mitchell remains Cleveland’s primary perimeter scoring threat, while James Harden provides additional playmaking and offensive experience.

Cleveland’s offence has also benefited from improved ball movement and greater involvement from its frontcourt. The Cavaliers have won four of their last five games after dropping their season opener.

Jaylon Tyson is dealing with an ankle injury, while Nae’Qwan Tomlin remains sidelined with a back problem. Nevertheless, Cleveland enters with considerably more available depth than its opponent.

NBA Prediction: Who Will Win Thunder vs. Cavaliers?

Oklahoma City’s injury situation makes Cleveland the stronger choice, particularly with Holmgren unavailable to challenge Mobley and Allen inside.

Gilgeous-Alexander can keep the Thunder competitive, but the supporting cast has struggled against quality opponents.

The Cavaliers should control the rebounding battle and generate high-percentage scoring opportunities.

Expect Cleveland to exploit Oklahoma City’s depleted lineup and cover the 4.5-point spread.

Best Bet: Cleveland -4.5
