Suns vs. Mavericks NBA Betting Odds

Dallas has recently got the better of the Suns, winning four of their last five meetings and covering in all five. Sunday’s the last of four contests between these two teams this season. Dallas won two of the first three and the Suns have averaged under 105 points in those games. Six of these teams’ last eight meetings have gone under the total.

The Suns have won 11 straight games played in March, and are also 6-2-1 ATS in their last nine games played on a Sunday. Dallas meanwhile has a single win in their last seven Sunday outings.

Phoenix Suns

Devin Booker stayed hot on Friday for the Suns, scoring a game-high 35 points in a win at Chicago. Booker’s led the Suns in scoring in four straight games, and now has extra help on offence with Kevin Durant suiting up in Phoenix’s last two wins. Playing around 30 minutes, Durant’s been efficient in his two showings. He’s averaged 21.5 points, shooting 17-of-25 from the field. Durant was one rebound shy of a double-double in Friday’s win.

Phoenix is a top-five three-point shooting squad, and they put that on full display Friday with 20 made threes. Booker made six of his 10 attempts, and Josh Okogie added five on 10 attempts as the Suns shot 42.6 per cent from deep as a team.

Dallas Mavericks

Dallas finally got the performance they were looking for from their one-two punch of Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving when the duo combined for 82 points Thursday. Doncic scored a game-high 42 points and Irving had 40, Both players made at least six threes and shot over 50 per cent from the field and from three. Doncic and Iriving were just the fifth pair of players on the same team to each score 40 points in regulation in the last 30 years.

The Mavs as a team chucked up 48 threes in the win over Philadelphia and converted on 25. Dallas now ranks third in the NBA in three-pointers made per game with 15.1. Long short story? Sunday might look like a three-point contest.
