Toronto Raptors vs. Oklahoma City Thunder Prediction, NBA Odds

The Toronto Raptors look to conclude their five-game road trip through the Western Conference with a bang on Sunday night as they visit the defending league champion Oklahoma City Thunder, who are -11 on the NBA odds with a total of 225.

Raptors vs. Thunder NBA Betting Odds

It’s a great Sunday to be a Toronto sports fan as the Maple Leafs host the potentially historically good Colorado Avalanche and the Raptors visit the potentially historically good Thunder.

Oklahoma City is the +120 favourite to be the NBA’s first repeat champion since Golden State in 2018 but breaking the 2015-16 Warriors’ mark of 73 regular-season wins is not happening as OKC literally would have to win out to reach 73, and the longest winning streak in NBA history is 33 in a row.

The Thunder probably won’t even get to 70 wins, but they surely don’t care. It’s all about being healthy once the post-season rolls around and earning the top overall seed. Toronto native Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is the -380 favourite to repeat as NBA MVP, and Chet Holmgren is the -110 leader for Defensive Player of the Year. This team legitimately has no holes and still holds a ton of other teams’ first-round picks in futures draft, so a dynasty might be brewing.

Sunday marks the first meeting of the season between the clubs with the Thunder at Scotiabank Arena on Feb. 24. Oklahoma City won both last season by at least 12 points. Gilgeous-Alexander averaged 27.5 points in the two and sidekick Jalen Williams 23.5 PPG.

Toronto is 3-7 SU & 5-5 ATS in the past 10 meetings, with the over-under at 6-4

Toronto Raptors

Toronto is 3-1 on this five-game trip through the West after winning a third straight Friday in Portland, 110-98 – catching a break in that the Blazers were in the second of a back-to-back and without leading scorer Deni Avdija.

The Dinos largely dominated despite being outscored from the 3-point line (39-27) and losing the turnover battle (16-13). But the Raptors outscored the Trail Blazers in points in the paint (64-46), second chance points (19-15) and fast-break points (16-7). Toronto leads the league in fast-break points per game at 19.2.

Sandro Mamukelashvili was terrific with 22 points, six rebounds, four assists and a team-best plus-25 rating. RJ Barrett returned from a seven-game ankle injury absence but was quiet with 10 points in 21 minutes.

For this one, centre Jakob Poeltl remains out, while Collin Murray-Boyles and Ja’Kobe Walter are questionable. Toronto is 5-1 ATS in its past six on the road.

Oklahoma City Thunder

Oklahoma City has lost back-to-back games only twice this season (not three in a row yet) and looks to avoid a third following a pretty shocking 117-114 home defeat to Indiana on Friday in a rematch of the 2025 NBA Finals.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 47 points and Chet Holmgren had 25 points and 13 boards, but they didn’t get a ton of help with the likes of Jalen Williams, Isaiah Hartenstein and Alex Caruso among those sidelined due to injury. At a minimum, Williams (16.8 PPG, 5.6 APG, 4.8 RPG) will not play Sunday.

The Thunder are second in the NBA in steals per game at 10.2 per while leading the league in turnovers forced per game (17.8) and points off turnovers per (23.9). The over is 8-1 in OKC’s past nine at home vs. Toronto.
