The Raptors tip off a four-game road trip in Indiana looking to rebound from a 111-101 loss to Boston on Tuesday night that marked the team’s seventh defeat in nine games. The Pacers look to close out their current four-game home stand on a winning note after dropping a 125-116 decision to Denver on Monday night.

The Pacers have rocketed to 10.5-point favourites on the Wednesday NBA odds. The Raptors are pegged as +400 underdogs on the NBA moneyline and the total is listed at 233.5.

Raptors vs. Pacers NBA Betting Odds

The Raptors look to complete their first season sweep of the Pacers since 2020 with a win on Wednesday night. The Raptors rolled to a pair of dominating wins over the Pacers in Toronto earlier this season, capped by a 122-111 victory on December 3 and have now earned the win in four of six head-to-head meetings including each of their past two visits to Indiana. Toronto has regularly run up the score when facing the Pacers, averaging 127 points during their current 4-2 run.

In addition to seeing the OVER pay out in totals betting in five of their past six dates with Indy, the Raptors have also seen each of their four recent wins over the Pacers come as betting underdogs. However, points have come at a premium for the Raptors lately, with the club topping 111 points just once in their past eight outings. The Raptors have also struggled when playing the back half of games scheduled on consecutive nights, going 2-8 this season but covering in four of five on the road. Indeed, the Raptors have emerged as a solid road bet, going 4-2 straight up and 6-0 ATS in their past six.

Toronto Raptors

While the Raptors have struggled to score at times, RJ Barrett has remained a model of consistency. The Mississauga native has led the team in scoring in three of the past four games and averaged 25.3 points per game over that four-game stretch. Scottie Barnes has dropped at least 20 points in each of the past two games but his status for Wednesday remains uncertain due to a hip contusion.

The status of Raptors big man Jakob Poeltl is also questionable after he missed Tuesday’s loss to Boston, also due to a hip injury. Raptors fans will also have to continue waiting for the debut of the team’s recent addition Brandon Ingram, who remains on the mend due to an ankle injury that is likely to keep him out of the lineup until next month.

Indiana Pacers

Tyrese Haliburton has emerged as a key component for a Pacers squad that still maintains hope of tracking down the New York Knicks in the race for third place in the Eastern Conference. Haliburton has recorded double-doubles in each of his past two outings, averaging 24 points and 13.5 assists, and trails only former Raptors star Pascal Siakam in team scoring with 18.1 points per game. However, Haliburton is listed as questionable for Wednesday due to a groin injury that forced him to miss Monday’s loss to the Nuggets.

“Spicy P” has yet to return to early-season form since returning from the NBA All-Star Break. Siakam has averaged just 15.7 points in his past three outings but recorded 12 rebounds in Sunday’s 129-111 win over the LA Clippers and has averaged 20.8 points in five dates with his former Raptors teammates.
