With the loss, Toronto not sits two games back of first-place Detroit in the East and dropped to 1-3 ATS in their past four. Conversely, the Knicks are heating up after struggling through a 2-3 run, claiming victory by an average margin of 16.7 points while winning three straight. The Knicks have also been dominant at home this season, going 9-1 SU and ATS including six wins by double-digit margins and have seen all nine wins come by at least right points.
Toronto Raptors
Scottie Barnes emerged as the Raptors’ best performer on an otherwise disappointing night in Charlotte, tallying 30 points and 12 rebounds. That marks Barnes’ third double-double in as many games and his 10th overall, achieving the feat seven times on the road. Brandon Ingram maintained the offensive consistency that he has displayed all season, scoring 22 points and has now averaged 28.3 points over the past three games.
New York Knicks
The Knicks overcame a relatively slow start on their way to Friday’s victory over the Bucks. Jalen Brunson led the charge with a game-high 37 points. The Knicks’ team leader with 29.1 points and 6.2 assists per game, Brunson has racked up an average of 32.5 points over his past three outings, but averaged just 18.3 points in four appearances versus Toronto last season. The Knicks remain without former Raptor OG Anunoby, who has been sidelined since mid-November due to a hamstring injury.
