Toronto Raptors vs. Chicago Bulls Prediction, NBA Odds

Toronto starts a five-game road trip on Wednesday night when it visits the tanking Chicago Bulls in their final matchup of the season. The Raptors are -7 on the NBA odds with a total of 235.5.

Raptors vs. Bulls NBA Betting Odds

Whether Toronto finishes in the Top 6 of the Eastern Conference and avoids the Play-In Tournament likely will be largely decided by how the team fares in its longest remaining road trip by far that begins tonight in Chicago and goes to Salt Lake City, Denver, Phoenix and Los Angeles (Clippers). A 3-2 record would be considered a huge success, and the Dinos would be in good shape to avoid the Play-In. To make the full-field East playoffs, they are -900.

Chicago has been a franchise stuck in the mud for years, not bad enough to get a super-high draft pick and a franchise-type talent and not good enough to make the full playoffs. At this year’s trade deadline the front office finally chose a direction and that was to tank the rest of this campaign. The team probably did it too late, though, to land a Top 3 pick in a 2026 NBA Draft that has three clear-cut top prospects.

Wednesday is the third and final meeting between the clubs with Toronto winning each of the first two by at least nine points (2-0 ATS). The Bulls are looking to avoid three straight losses in the series for the first time since a 12-game skid between the 2016-17 and 2019-20 seasons. Brandon Ingram is averaging 32.0 points, 7.0 assists and 6.0 rebounds vs. the Bulls this season.

Toronto Raptors

Toronto has followed a two-game skid with back-to-back wins, including an impressive 119-108 home victory over the Eastern Conference-leading Pistons on Sunday. Brandon Ingram had 34 points, RJ Barrett 27 points and Jakob Poeltl 21 points, a season-high 18 rebounds and five assists. It was Ingram’s 11th 30-point game this season. He has scored at least 20 in three straight for the seventh time this campaign. It was Poeltl’s 60th double-double as a Raptor, ninth-most in franchise history. It was his second career 20/15/5 game, and he became only the seventh player in team annals to reach those marks. Over the past 10 games, Barrett has averaged 22 points and 6.1 rebounds on 55.8 per cent shooting. Scottie Barnes reached 100 blocks on the season, the 16th Raptors player to do so in franchise history and first since Chris Boucher in 2020-21. Rookie first-round pick Collin Murray-Boyles returned to practice Tuesday to test out his injured thumb. He expects to play on this trip but not likely in Chicago listed doubtful. Murray-Boyles has not played since Feb. 25. The Raptors are 13-1 SU in their past 14 vs. Central Division foes.

Chicago Bulls

Chicago beat another tanking team on Monday in Memphis, 132-107, but hasn’t won back-to-back games since Jan. 24. Josh Giddey is about the only good player the Bulls have right now, and he had a triple-double of 16 points, 15 rebounds and 13 assists. Giddey was the first player in Bulls history to record a game with those minimums and the 10th player in NBA history to tally such a game. He has double-digit assists in five straight. Giddey is averaging 14.2points, 6.8 rebounds and 6.6 assists in his past 10 vs. Toronto. Promising second-year player Matas Buzelis on Monday became the first player in Bulls history to record at least 150 made 3-pointers and 100 blocks in a single season. The only other player in the league this year with at least 100 of each is Spurs star Victor Wembanyama. Any player remotely hurt for the Bulls will sit as they try to lose. Guard Collin Sexton and starting forward Isaac Okoro are both in question. Guards Anfernee Simons and Jaden Ivey have been out a while and remain so. The Bulls are 6-2 ATS in their past eight.
