Joel Embiid participated in practice on Tuesday, raising hopes that the two-time NBA scoring champion would return to action after missing the past four games but it looks increasingly likely that his return will be delayed until at least Thursday.
That puts the burden of carrying this team on the shoulders of Tyrese Maxey, who leads the squad with 32.5 points after turning in an impressive 39-point performance on Monday.
