Los Angeles is coming off a season-high 143-point night too, with LeBron James posting a season-high 39 points himself. The 37-year-old is now at 37,371 career points, which is second on the all-time list and now just over 1,000 back of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

Tip off at Crypto.com Arena goes at 10:30 p.m. EDT, with Los Angeles a 4.5-point favourite on home court and the total at 235 on the NBA odds.

Both clubs enter Monday’s bout having .500 records in their respective situations, with Indiana 4-4 on the road and L.A. 5-5 at home this season. The Pacers are now 2-8 in their last 10 contests against Western Conference opponents, and 5-14 in their last 19 versus the Pacific Division. Los Angeles has covered in four of their last five against Eastern opponents.

Head-to-head, the under is on a 5-0 run in the last five Pacers–Lakers games played in L.A. It’s also 5-2 in Indiana’s last seven overall despite the Pacers being a top-10 offence with 116.6 points per game. Los Angeles is on a 5-1 run and have scored at least 115 points in all of their last five wins.

Indiana Pacers

Scoring’s been up and down for the Pacers, who have either scored 123 and won or scored right around 100 points and lost in their last outings. Sunday against the Clippers was the latter, with the team shooting under 40 per cent from the field and nine for 42 from the arc. Forward Jalen Smith led the club with a season-high 23 points, the only Pacer to crack 15 on the night.

Guard Tyrese Haliburton leads the squad with 19.9 points per night and is also averaging a league high in assists with 11.1. Haliburton again picked up a double-double with assists yesterday, scoring 15 points and registering 11 assists.

Los Angeles Lakers

James put forth a vintage performance at San Antonio Sunday, getting his 39 points by making seven of 12 threes and knocking down all 10 of his free throws. He also grabbed 11 boards for the double-double, leading Los Angeles there too. The Lakers got 49 bench points from four players on Saturday too, with rookie Austin Reaves scoring a bench-high 16 points.

The Lakers knocked down 17 of 33 three-pointers too, which is a great sign for a team that still ranks 28th in three-point percentage. Los Angeles has climbed up all the way to 16th in field goal percentage after a disastrous start, and Saturday’s win is more to build off of.
