The Pacers have seized the momentum in this series with consecutive weekend wins on home court at Gainbridge Fieldhouse and will be looking to top New York in three straight meetings for the first time in over five years. Battling a recent rash of injuries, the Knicks will be looking to bounce back and reclaim the series lead by tallying their 11th victory in 13 appearances at MSG.

Despite getting thoroughly outclassed in a crushing 121-89 loss in Game 4 on Sunday afternoon, the Knicks return home as slim 2.5-point favourites on the Tuesday NBA odds. However, they now find themselves trailing the Pacers on the NBA series prices as +110 underdogs, while Indiana now leads the way for the first time in the series as -133 chalk. The total for Tuesday’s contest is listed at 216.5.

Pacers vs. Knicks NBA Betting Odds

It is tough to overstate just how thoroughly the Knicks were outplayed in their devastating loss in Indiana in Game 4. New York put up just 14 points in the first quarter while spotting Indy a 20-point advantage and continued to lose ground as the contest wore on. Overall, the Knicks converted just 33.7 per cent from the field and an abysmal 18.9 per cent from beyond the arc. Frequent opportunities from the line were also squandered, with the Knicks dropping just 22 of 31 free throw attempts.

Overall, New York starters accounted for just 39 points on the night, with veteran Alec Burks coming off the bench to score a team-high 20 points. By contrast, the Pacers have received contributions from up and the down the lineup. The Indy bench contributed an impressive 57 points, taking the pressure off Pacers starters, who averaged just a little over 24 minutes of action.

But with home teams reigning supreme so far in this series, can the Pacers maintain that momentum on Broadway, where they have lost in seven of nine visits.

Indiana Pacers

Well rested after sharing the workload in Game 4, Indiana starters could be poised for a breakthrough at MSG on Tuesday night. Tyrese Haliburton once again led the attack with 20 points scored in just 28 minutes of action. However, Haliburton continues to be dogged by injury woes. In addition to the back spasms that limited him earlier in the postseason, Haliburton is reportedly also dealing with a right ankle sprain and a sacral contusion that leaves him listed as questionable.

There is little doubt that Haliburton will be in the lineup, and is coming off a pair of monster performances in Games 2 and 3, but sports bettors will want to be patient if they are considering backing him on the NBA player props as a -120 bet to top 20.5 points.

New York Knicks

Jalen Brunson looked far from his usual superstar form in Sunday’s loss, with his 18 points marking his lowest scoring performance since late March. Brunson was forced to briefly leave Game 2 due to a lower body injury, and has not been the same player since. While he has found his way off the injury report, the 24.3 points he has averaged in the past three games pales in comparison to the 42.4 points he averaged over his five previous outings.

Adding to the concerns is the defensive breakdown experienced by Isaiah Hartenstein and Josh Hart, who combined to record just six total rebounds in Game 4 after the duo combined to record 59 total boards over the previous two games. No word yet on when we will see OG Anunoby back in the lineup. The former Toronto Raptor has been ruled out of Game 5 while he nurses the hamstring injury that has sidelined him for the past two games.
