Pacers vs. Bucks Prediction: NBA Odds, Point Spread
Just a half game ahead of the Pacers, the Bucks will host Indiana on Wednesday with Milwaukee looking to widen the gap between the two teams.
The Bucks are a healthy 8.5-point favourite to win on the NBA odds with a total of 232.0.
NBA Point Spread and Betting Analysis
Indiana has been moving up the standings by putting points on the board. The Pacers have hit the Over in seven of their last nine games and four of their last five. Indiana is 11-10 against the spread for the season, but they have only covered once in their last eight games in Milwaukee.
The Bucks have hit the Over in 12 of their 20 games this season, including four of their last five. They haven’t been as good at covering, as they are 9-11 ATS for the season, including 3-6 ATS in their last nine games. Milwaukee took three of four meetings with the Pacers, last season.
Indiana Pacers
There’s not much rest for the Pacers after their 134-116 home win over the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday. Domantas Sabonis starred for Indiana, putting up a game-high 32 points, 13 rebounds and five assists. The Pacers have also received clutch-scoring performances all season long from Malcolm Brogdon (23 points on Tuesday) and Myles Turner (22 points). Brogdon leads the team with 22.9 points per game, while Sabonis has been a big difference maker, averaging 12.0 rebounds per game, which is fifth best in the NBA. Sitting half a game back of the Bucks in the Eastern Conference, this is a huge opportunity for Indiana to jump Milwaukee in the standings.
Milwaukee Bucks
Although it has been a bit of an up-and-down season for the Bucks, Milwaukee trails only the 76ers and Nets for top spot in the Eastern Conference. After losses to New Orleans and Charlotte, the Bucks bounced back for a 134-106 win over the Trail Blazers on Monday. Six Milwaukee players put up double-digit points, including Jrue Holiday’s game-high 22 points, seven rebounds and six assists. Bobby Portis had 21 points and eight rebounds, while Giannis Antetokounmpo finished with 18 points. Antetokounmpo averages a double-double every game and leads the team in points per game (averages 27.3) and rebounds (11.0). The Greek Freak has been central to a Bucks offence that ranks No. 2 in points per game (120.50), field goal percentage (49.07) and total rebounds (48.60).
