Nuggets vs. Warriors Point Spread: NBA Odds, Prediction

The defending champions are playing their worst basketball of the season and are costing their backers serious dough during the rough spell.

NBA Point Spread and Betting Analysis

The Nuggets are fresh of a 16-point win over LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday night. Denver’s win paired with Golden State’s blowout loss to the Boston Celtics moved the team to within a game of the top of the conference.

Under bettors are playing close attention to the squad. Denver has finished below the Over/Under line in seven straight and nine of its last 10 games. The Nuggets are one of the Association’s better Under teams with a 28-35-1 Over/Under record.

They’ve covered the spread in two straight games but they’re just 13-18 against the number away from home this season. The Nuggets edged the Dubs 100-98 as 4.5-point home underdogs back in October, but were smoked in the rematch last January when the Warriors walked away with a 142-111 road win.

As mentioned, Golden State is coming off an embarrassing setback to the Boston Celtics on Wednesday night. The Warriors lost by 33 points despite closing as 6.5-point home favourites. The result pushed their ATS swoon to 1-10 in their last 11 games.

The Dubs are the worst ATS bet in the NBA with just 25 covers in 64 games. The lack of points scored by the club is helping out Under bettors too. The Under is 5-1 in G-State’s last six games.

Denver Nuggets

There are few teams in the league a roster as balanced and deep as Denver’s. The Nuggets boast seven players averaging 10 or more points per game including All-Star pivot Nikola Jokic. The 24-year-old big man has a chance to post the second-highest assist per game mark since Wilt Chamberlain posted 7.8 per game back in the 66-67 campaign.

Golden State Warriors

The Warriors star-studded starting lineup could be down one body on Friday night. Shooting guard Klay Thompson is questionable to play because of the same knee injury that’s kept out of the last two games. Golden State is 0-3 against the spread when Thompson sits this season.
