The Raptors are no longer red hot. They’re 1-2 straight up in their last three games and 0-4 against the spread in their last four. They’ve allowed 115 or more points in three of their last four games and the over is 3-1 during the cold spell. Toronto is still 53-19 SU and 40-32 ATS on the season.
The 2012 Dwight Howard made a cameo appearance on Wednesday night in Brooklyn as the Charlotte Hornets centre carved up the Nets for 32 points and 30 rebounds. The Nets are 3-7 SU and 5-5 ATS in their last 10 games. Brooklyn is still one of the NBA’s better bets with a 40-32 ATS mark. The Raptors are 11-0 SU and 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games against Brooklyn.
Toronto opened as a 12-point favourite for this NBA matchup.

Is Jarrett Allen a good defensive player? The rookie out of Texas is collecting a lot of blocks but he was the person supposed to be blocking out Howard on Wednesday. The Nets are allowing 111.6 points per 100 possessions with Allen on the floor and 115.6 when he takes a seat over the last 10 games.
D’Angelo Russell will be happy to see the Dinos again. He hit seven triples and scored 32 points when the two teams last played each other.

Are these still the same old Raptors? That’s the question being lobbied around with professional givers of takes on the airwaves after Toronto coughed up a 15-point, halftime lead against the Cavaliers.
A strong argument could be made that the Dinos aren’t as elite as their place in the standings indicates. The result against Cleveland drops Toronto’s record to 21-17 against teams above .500 and 32-2 against sub .500 sides.
