The team announced on Wednesday that RJ Barrett suffered a right knee sprain and will be reevaluated in seven days.

RJ Barrett
Barrett suffered the injury during Sunday’s win over the Brooklyn Nets, appearing to land awkwardly after a fast break dunk in the third quarter. He limped to the locker room on the next whistle and did not return.
The Mississaugua, Ontario native is Toronto’s second-leading scorer, averaging 19.4 points per game. The 25-year-old is having a solid start to the season, also averaging 4.8 rebounds and 3.8 steals while shooting 50.6 per cent from the field and 35.6 per cent from three.
