The Dallas Mavericks and Phoenix Suns clash one more time for a Game 7 showdown, the winner advancing to the Western Conference Final. Home court is the major advantage in this series with the home team 6-0 so far, and it’s the first-place Suns hosting Sunday’s Game 7.

Dallas forced this Game 7 with another dominating home win, defeating Phoenix 113-86. The winner of Sunday gets Golden State in the next round. Despite this being a series going the distance, three games have been decided by 20 or more points and the closest match was a seven-point Phoenix win in Game 1.

Tip-off at Footprint Center goes at 8 p.m. EST, with the Suns six-point favourites and the over-under listed at 205 on the NBA odds.

Mavericks vs. Suns NBA Betting Odds

The margin of victory has been the biggest storyline when it comes to predicting these games’ outcomes. As mentioned, four games have been decided by double digits — two of each team’s three wins. Each team has covered in three games this series, meaning the home team is 6-0 this series ATS.

And after two overs kicked this series off, the under has hit in the last four outings. If you’re looking at the team totals, the road team has scored over 100 points in one of the last four games and that was Phoenix scoring 101 in Game 4. The Mavs are also on an eight-game losing streak at Phoenix.

Dallas Mavericks

Luka Doncic again just came shy of a triple-double in Game 6, but that’s not to take away from yet another stellar night from Dallas’ superstar guard. Doncic’s 33 points led all players in Game 6, and he added 11 rebounds and eight assists. Doncic has yet to record a triple-double these playoffs but has been either two rebounds or assists short four games this post-season.

Reggie Bullock had a strong night in Game 6 going five for 11 from the three-point line and posting 19 points in the win. Spencer Dinwiddie knocked down five threes as well, finishing with 15 points off the bench. If Dallas is to advance on the road, it’ll likely be through all-time Luka performance.

Phoenix Suns

It was another poor shooting night on the road for Phoenix in Game 6, capped off with a 14-point fourth quarter. As a team the Suns shot under 40 per cent from the field and converted on just six three-point attempts. Devin Booker couldn’t get going for the Suns with just 19 points and o-fer on four three-point shots. Deandre Ayton led the Suns with 21 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for his third double-double of the seires.

For one last bit of confidence, the Suns are 5-1 at home in the playoffs with an average margin of victory of 14 points.
