The Rockets sit just outside the playoff picture, two games back of Utah and LA, in the wake of Saturday’s 106-104 defeat in Brooklyn that marks their ninth loss in 13 games.

Houston Rockets
The Rockets fell just short of forcing overtime for the third time in five games in Saturday’s 106-104 loss to the Nets. Houston has produced a big second half in each of the past three games, averaging 70 points after recess. However, slow starts remain a concern, with the Rockets ranking 26th in the NBA while averaging just 54.6 points first-half points scored this season. Alperen Sengun continues to lead the club with 21.7 points, 9.2 rebounds, and 1.2 steals per game, and sports solid -115 odds on the NBA player props to record his sixth double-double in seven games.
