Pascal Siakam emerged as the lone starter to score in double digits, but his 15 points marks a huge step back after the former Toronto Raptors star hit 30 points in two of the previous three games.
It was also a particularly brutal night for Tyrese Haliburton. In the wake of his sensational triple-double performance in Game 4, Haliburton mustered just eight points on just 28.6 per cent shooting while playing a series-low 32 minutes.
The Pacers’ top shooter in Game 5 came off the bench, with Bennedict Mathurin tallying a team-high 23 points. The Montreal native has now scored 20 or more in two straighjt games and has scored at least 19 points in three of four when seeing at least 20 minutes of action.
