After squandering an 11-point lead early in the second half, the Pacers overcame a nine-point deficit late in the contest to claim their first win of the series and extend their current straight up win streak on home court to nine games. Plagued by injuries that have hobbled leading scorer Jalen Brunson and sidelined former Toronto Raptor OG Anunoby, the Knicks rapidly faded in Friday’s Game 3 matchup, scoring just eight points over the final 9:46, and have now fallen to defeat in six of their past 12 road dates including two of four so far in these playoffs.

With Friday’s victory, the Pacers have received a lift on the Sunday NBA odds, where they lead the way as 5.5-point favourites. Indiana has also dramatically improved to a +188 underdog on the NBA series prices, while the Knicks have faded to -225 to hang on and win this Eastern Conference series. The total for Sunday’s contest is set at 218.5.

Knicks vs. Pacers NBA Playoff Betting Odds

The Pacers extended their recent dominance on home hardwood with Friday’s victory. Overall, Indiana has earned the win in 10 of 11 home dates, and have seen those victories come by an average margin of 16.3 points per game, powering a 7-3 run against the spread. The Pacers have now also won five straight home playoff games but have gone just 2-2 ATS on home court this spring. It has been a far different story for the Knicks, who saw their first two-game win streak on the road in playoff action since 1999 end with Friday’s defeat. Overall, the Knicks have lost 27 of 38 on the road since winning four straight 25 years ago, and seven straight in second round action. Overall, the Knicks have also been a shaky bet when visiting Indiana, losing 21 of 26 meetings since March 2012, and 19 of 22 when battling the Pacers as road underdogs of five or more points.

New York Knicks

After missing time during Game 2 due to a reported foot injury, Jalen Brunson was in the lineup on Friday, but failed to maintain the torrid pace that has lifted him into contention on the NBA Finals MVP odds. Brunson tallied just 26 points on meagre 10-for-26 shooting after averaging 42 points per game during an epic five-game run prior to Game 2. OG Anunoby was forced to miss Game 3 due to a hamstring injury suffered in Game 2, and is listed as questionable for Sunday. However, shooting guard Donte DiVincenzo effectively filled the void, dropping 35 points and has now averaged 29.3 points in this series, making him a solid -120 bet on the NBA player props to tally OVER 23.5 points in Game 4.

Indiana Pacers

Tyrese Haliburton once again led the attack for the Pacers, laying to rest any injury worries while dropping 35 points, and has now scored 34.5 points over the past two games. Pascal Siakam also returned to form in Game 3, ending a run of six straight games with fewer than 20 points by scoring 26 points on improved 9-for-14 shooting. “Spicy P” also remained strong in the paint, with seven rebounds and has now averaged 8.3 boards per game during these playoffs. However, Siakam has failed to record a double-double on home court since March 29.
