Once again, the duo of Jalen Brunson and Julius Randle led the attack. Randle dropped a game-high 35 points, and has averaged 35 points and 9.8 boards over his past four games, while Brunson recorded a second straight double-double with 31 points and 13 assists.
Philadelphia 76ers
Joel Embiid immediately made his presence felt in his return to action this week after missing four games due to an ankle injury. Embiid led the way with a game-high 31 points in Tuesday’s victory over Chicago, and also recorded team highs with 15 rebounds and 10 assists for his second triple-double of the season. Overall, the reigning NBA MVP has averaged 39.3 points per game in 10 outings since the beginning of December.
