Sacramento Kings vs. Golden State Warriors Game 4 Prediction, NBA Odds

Golden State is a 7.5-point home favourite on the NBA odds for Game 4 on Sunday.

Kings vs. Warriors NBA Betting Odds

With defending NBA champion Golden State winning Game 3 by a score of 114-97 to cut Sacramento’s series lead to 2-1, the Warriors are now series favourites at -120 with the Kings at -110. On the series handicap, Sacramento at +1.5 is -323 and Golden State at -1.5 is +225.

The over-under for series total games is 5.5 with the over at -1111 and the under +550. That the series finishes in seven games is a -111 leader. And the favoured exact series result is Warriors in six at +218. Dubs and Kings in seven are both +272 and I slightly lean Golden State in seven.

Game 5 is Wednesday back in Sacramento.

Sacramento Kings

The Kings had one of the best road records in the NBA this season, but playing at Golden State is simply a different animal, and the playoff newbies looked a bit overwhelmed in the 114-97 loss on Thursday in Game 3 after averaging 120.0 ppg in the first two games at home. “They came home and they upped the level of physicality. They were the more physical team on both ends of the floor,” said Kings coach and former Warriors assistant Mike Brown. De’Aaron Fox was great again, finishing with 26 points, 10 rebounds and nine assists – he’s announcing himself as a star in this series if he didn’t already this season (few casual NBA fans see Kings regular-season games). Domantas Sabonis had 15 points, 15 rebounds and four assists but six turnovers. The Kings shot 38 per cent from the field and 23.4 per cent from three-point range while committing 15 turnovers. The 97 points were tied for the Kings’ third-fewest this season.

Golden State Warriors

While Golden State didn’t exactly light it up offensively in Game 3 by shooting 40 per cent, it did grab 18 offensive rebounds (compared to 19 total the first two games) and amassed a 24-12 advantage in second-chance points despite playing without forward Draymond Green due to a one-game suspension. Jordan Poole started for him and had 16 points. Green will return for this one. Steph Curry had 36 points and was plus-24. Kevon Looney had 20 rebounds and a rather unusual nine assists – both numbers up likely because Green was out. Toronto native Andrew Wiggins was questionable but played and had 20 points and seven rebounds. The Dubs committed 12 turnovers for seven points, compared with 22 turnovers for 25 points in Game 2. Reserve guard Gary Payton II, a great defender, was out with an illness. The Payton and Green were both out and the Kings didn’t even score 100 was shocking.
