The Warriors are 7-point favourites on the NBA odds for Game 3.

Kings vs. Warriors NBA Playoff Betting Odds

Following a 114-106 loss in Sacramento on Monday, Golden State is down 2-0 in the Round 1 matchup against the Kings. The Warriors had gone 27 straight playoff series without trailing 2-0, the longest in NBA history.

On the updated series line, the Kings are -169 and Warriors +126. On the series handicap, Sacramento at +1.5 is -556 and Golden State -1.5 is +350. The favoured exact result is Kings in seven at +295, while a sweep is +830. The correct score after four games is 2-2 at -132. The over-under total games is 5.5 with the over a -345 favourite. That it finishes is seven games is the +125 leader.

Golden State is 8-2 straight up but 2-8 ATS in the past 10 meetings at home.

Sacramento Kings

The Kings did what they were supposed to do in holding serve at home in the first two games. De’Aaron Fox had 24 points, nine assists and five rebounds in Game 2, and Domantas Sabonis 24 points, nine rebounds and four assists. Fox was arguably the NBA’s best fourth-quarter player this season and a finalist for the Jerry West Clutch Player Award. He was 5-for-9 from the field in the fourth in Game 2. Sabonis underwent X-rays after being stomped on his ribs/lungs by Draymond Green but is expected to be fine. Malik Monk and Davion Mitchell combined for 32 off the bench on Monday. The Kings were 25-16 on the road this season.

Golden State Warriors

We wait on whether former Warriors All-Star forward Draymond Green is suspended for Game 3 after he was thrown out of Game 2 for stomping on Kings star Domantas Sabonis in the fourth quarter. Green received an automatic ejection after being issued a Flagrant 2 foul with 7:03 remaining and then climbed up on the Warriors’ bench in a show of defiance, inciting the crowd. Commissioner Adam Silver was right there in attendance. Considering Green’s history, it would be a surprise if he’s not suspended. The Dubs have been prone to commit dumb fouls often in this series. The team’s lone true centre, Kevon Looney, got into foul trouble in Game 2 and that was a big difference. Toronto native Andrew Wiggins returned to the starting lineup and had 22 points. The Warriors are 33-8 at home during the regular season.
