LeBron James led the way in his return from a one-game suspension, draining a game-high 39 points in his most productive outing so far this season. However, James has struggled to generate offence in recent appearances against the Kings, averaging just 16 points per game over his past three. In addition, James’ status for Friday remains in doubt as he continues to battle a nagging abdominal injury that previously sidelined him for almost two weeks. The good news is Anthony Davis is expected to make his return after sitting out Wednesday’s win in Indiana due to an unspecified illness.
