Toronto returns home for just one game Wednesday night as the Raptors host the Miami Heat. The NBA odds will be determined by a few Raptors injuries.

Heat vs. Raptors NBA Betting Odds

Wednesday is the third of four regular-season meetings between the teams with the Heat returning to Toronto on April 28. The clubs split two games in South Florida last month. All-Star Jimmy Butler averaged 25.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.5 assists in the games, with Tyler Herro (more on him below) at 18.0 points and 11.5 rebounds. Former Raptors franchise icon Kyle Lowry put up 12.0 points and 4.0 assists per game. Miami went a perfect 15-of-15 from the line in the third quarter on Oct. 24 vs. Toronto, the most makes without a miss in a quarter for the team since at least the 1996-97 season (when that data was available).

Pascal Siakam averaged 23.0 points, 8.5 rebounds and 7.5 assists for Toronto but remains sidelined by injury. Gary Trent Jr. was at 20.5 points, and Precious Achiuwa 14.0 points and 16.5 rebounds, but he’s also hurt.

Miami leads the all-time regular-season series 59-39 and is 24-23 as the road team. The Heat are 7-3 against the spread in their past 10 in Toronto.

Miami Heat

The Heat won their third in a row Monday, 113-112 over visiting Phoenix despite trailing by 13 in the fourth. Bam Adebayo scored 30 points, including a pair of go-ahead free throws with 35 seconds left, and Jimmy Butler blocked Devin Booker’s last-second jumper. Butler finished with 16 points, 13 rebounds and seven assists. Reigning NBA Sixth Man of the Year Tyler Herro, who now starts, has missed Miami’s past four with an ankle sprain and won’t even travel Wednesday. Miami has currently shot at least 80 per cent from the foul line in 13 straight games, the longest such streak in franchise history. The NBA record is 15 in a row by Oklahoma City. The Heat are 1-9 ATS in their past 10 after a win.

Toronto Raptors

Toronto played without Pascal Siakam, Fred VanVleet, Gary Trent and Precious Achiuwa on Monday but still held off the Detroit Pistons 115-111 as the Dinos avoided their first three-game skid of the year. Dalano Banton scored a career-high 27 points, and Chris Boucher added 20. Otto Porter left early due to foot soreness, which allowed Juancho Hernangomez to start the second half. Porter, Siakam and Achiuwa are out Wednesday. VanVleet and Trent are questionable. Nick Nurse started Banton, Porter and Thad Young alongside regular starters Scottie Barnes and OG Anunoby on Monday. The Raptors are 0-5 ATS in their past five games.
