The Warriors are coming off a decisive 123-105 victory over the visiting Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday night, and have pulled even with the Clippers in the race for a spot among the top six in the Western Conference during their 3-0 run. The Clippers hit the road for a pair of contests in Northern California after dropping a 108-101 decision to Minnesota on Tuesday.

Despite their recent slide, the Clippers arrive in the Bay Area perched as 4-point road favourites on the NBA odds, while the total has dipped slightly to 232 since opening at 233.

Clippers vs. Warriors NBA Betting Odds

Thursday night’s matchup at Chase Center marks the third of four scheduled meetings this season between these Western Conference rivals. They split the first two dates, capped by the Clippers’ 134-124 home victory on February 14. However, the Warriors hold the edge overall, winning four of six meetings, and each of their past five clashes on home court. The total has topped 230 in both earlier matchups this season, ending a 5-2 run for the UNDER in head-to-head action.

Los Angeles Clippers

After falling to defeat in a pair of marathon overtime games with Denver and Sacramento, the Clippers faded quickly in Tuesday’s contest with the Timberwolves. They went behind early and let things slip away with a listless performance in the second half. Accustomed to having his minutes closely managed, Kawhi Leonard saw his production drop on Tuesday, scoring just 23 points after racking up 77 total points in the team’s two preceding overtime defeats.

However, Russell Westbrook has looked immediately comfortable since joining the club late last month. Westbrook has averaged 16 points per game in three outings, and has tallied double-digit assist totals in two of those outings.

Golden State Warriors

No Stephen Curry has been no problem for the Warriors, who have made up for the absence of their superstar by playing stingy ball. The Warriors have limited opponents to 105 or fewer points in each of their three recent wins after surrendering a whopping 128 points per game in the three previous outings. Klay Thompson has steadily led the charge, averaging just under 30 points over the past four games, but scored just 18 points when the Warriors visited the Clippers last month. Draymond Green showed no signs of injury in his return to action in Tuesday’s win over Portland, tallying team highs with nine rebounds and eight assists.

However, the club remains without Andrew Wiggins, who has been absent from the time since mid-February while he reportedly attends to a family matter.
