Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Orlando Magic Prediction, NBA Odds

Both teams are well on their way to playoff berths in the Eastern Conference, and positioning is crucial as teams approach the home stretch of the regular season. Cleveland (40-25) is in the mix for either the third or fourth seed, while Orlando (35-28) is hoping to avoid the play-in tournament.

This marks the third of four regular-season showdowns between these two conference rivals. They previously squared off in a home-and-home series on January 24 and January 26, when the Cavaliers prevailed 119-105 in Orlando and then went back north and got the job done 114-98 two days later.

Cavaliers vs. Magic NBA Betting Odds

Here are the latest odds for tonight’s Eastern Conference tilt:

The Cavaliers were +1 underdogs when they visited Orlando two months ago before going off as -5 favourites in the immediate rematch at home. Given that they had no trouble winning and covering on both occasions, it’s no surprise to see them priced as favorites in this situation even on the road.

Cleveland is 1-4 against the spread in its last five road games, but it is 5-1 ATS in the last six head-to-head matchups. Orlando is 4-1 ATS in its last five overall, but it is 1-4 ATS in its last five home games. As for the Over/Under, the Under is 4-0 in the Cavaliers’ past four contests and 4-0 in the last four meetings between these two teams.

Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cavaliers have won three of their last four games, with their only loss during this stretch coming to Boston in the second game of Jayson Tatum’s comeback. Since the start of February, Cleveland has lost only one game to an opponent not in the top two of its conference standings (118-116 at Milwaukee on February 25, and that was the second leg of a back-to-back situation).

Cleveland will be without Jarrett Allen (15.3 points per game) tonight, as he deals with a knee injury. Max Strus is reportedly close to making his 2025-26 debut, but remains out due to a foot problem.

Orlando Magic

The Magic are also playing fantastic basketball at the moment. They are in the midst of a four-game winning streak, and three of those victories have come by at least 17 points. Orlando’s defence has been especially outstanding in recent weeks. It limited Minnesota and Milwaukee to 92 and 91 points, respectively, in its last two outings and has played 10 straight games without allowing more than 114 points to any opponent.

Through five games this month, Paolo Banchero is averaging 27.0 PPG and 9.6 REB.

News on the injury front is mostly good for the Magic, as well. Only Anthony Black (15.3 PPG) is sidelined with an abdominal issue.

NBA Prediction: Who Will Win Cavaliers vs. Magic?

This is a huge showdown between two teams that are playing great basketball. Intensity should be high, and that normally results in a significant commitment on the defensive end of the floor. The previous encounters between Cleveland and Orlando resulted in 224 and 212 points. This should be a hard-fought, competitive contest – one that is high on physicality and relatively low on points. Let’s go with Cavaliers 111, Magic 108.
