The Knicks will be playing their third game in four nights after kicking off their NBA Cup schedule with Tuesday’s 111-99 win in Philadelphia that marks just their second victory in their past five games. The Bulls travel to the Big Apple after falling 119-113 to the red-hot Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday night that dumps them to 1-5 in six November contests to date.

The Knicks return home as 8.5-point favourites on the Wednesday NBA odds. The Bulls trail as +260 underdogs on the NBA moneyline, and the total is set at 230.5.

Bulls vs. Knicks NBA Betting Odds

The Knicks have struggled to produce consistent results in the early going of the NBA season. The club has recorded consecutive wins just once while compiling a 5-5 record and have been equally middling at the sportsbook while going 5-5 against the spread. The Knicks have leveraged a stingy defence in their five wins to date, surrendering just 99.2 points per game but have also been lit up for an average of 120.8 points in their five defeats, leaving NBA betting fans wondering which version of this team will show up on game night.

However, the Knicks have dominated the Bulls in recent head-to-head action, winning six of eight meetings overall and seven of nine dates at MSG since 2018. The Bulls have struggled to contain opposing shooters during their current 1-5 slide, allowing 123.5 points per game, and have also surrendered at least 119 points five times while posting a 3-3 record on the road. However, it has been the UNDER that has paid out in totals betting in three of their past four games.

Chicago Bulls

The Bulls blew a golden opportunity to establish just their second win streak of the season while spoiling Cleveland’s perfect start to the season with Monday’s loss to Cleveland. Chicago squandered a third-quarter lead on the way to their fifth defeat in six games and now sit on the edge of the playoff picture with a dismal 4-7 record.

The Bulls currently sport a team defence that ranks fourth last in the NBA while allowing 120.2 points per game, but have managed to tighten things up while allowing an average of just 47.5 points after halftime in their past two games. Up front, Zach LaVine continues to lead the Bulls attack. LaVine was one of three Bulls to reach 20 points while draining a team-high 26 points in Monday’s loss and leads the team in scoring despite averaging just 19 points per game over his past four outings.

New York Knicks

The Knicks opened their NBA Cup group play schedule with Tuesday’s victory over the slumping 76ers and have shown signs of snapping out of their early-season funk while limiting opponents to fewer than 100 points twice in their past three games. The challenge now is to maintain that stinginess against a Bulls squad that has had its far share of struggles at both ends of the court.

Overall, the Knicks have allowed just 100.7 points per game while going 2-1 at home this season. However, this club remains a betting disappointment while pegged as big chalk, failing to cover in four straight and eight of their past 11 while favoured by seven or more points. Former Toronto Raptor OG Anunoby led the way in Tuesday’s win with a team-high 24 points and has dropped 24.5 points per game in his past two outings, but has averaged just 14.3 points per game at home this season. Karl-Anthony Towns has also made his presence felt since arriving on Broadway last month. The big man has averaged 29.3 points over the past four games and recorded double-doubles in eight of his past nine appearances.
