Bucks vs. Magic Game 4 Prediction: NBA Odds, Point Spread

The Bucks rolled to a 121-107 victory in Game 3 (we missed hitting the exact score by one point), covering a huge spread for a second straight game as they look to take a stranglehold on the best-of-seven first-round series.

NBA Point Spread and Betting Analysis

A 13.5-point spread is tough to convert – and if the Bucks and Magic play like they have the past two games, this one will be a sweat no matter which side of the play you’re on. But Sports Interaction bettors appear to have faith in the favourites, with 72 percent of respondents taking the Bucks despite the huge spread. Milwaukee is 10-11 ATS in its previous 21 games as a double-digit fave, with three straight-up losses over that span.

The consensus on the Game 4 total of 225.5 isn’t quite as pronounced, but it’s still clear that the majority have made their pick. And to no one’s surprise, 66 percent of bettors are siding with the Over. The Bucks have surpassed the game total in six of their previous nine games overall, with three of those games finishing Over by 10 or more points. Orlando’s Over trend is even more pronounced: The Magic are 16-4 O/U in their last 20.

When the best player on either team is also the No. 1 player in the series, it’s hard for the opposing side to prevail. And that’s what the Bucks have working in their favour so far, with Giannis Antetokounmpo averaging an absurd 31.3 points, 16 rebounds and 6.3 assists through the first three games. But the Bucks would like to get more secondary scoring moving forward, with no other Milwaukee player averaging more than 14.0 points to date.

Orlando Magic

Bucks backers had to sweat that Game 3 result thanks largely to the Magic’s refusal to quit, even when down by 22 points entering the fourth quarter. But if Orlando has a hope of extending this series beyond five games, it’ll need to do a much better job of defending. The Bucks shot better than 56 percent in Game 3, and are at better than 47 percent for the series; the Magic are at just 43.0 percent from the floor through three games.
