The Pistons return home riding a six-game losing skid in the wake of Wednesday’s narrow 120-118 defeat in Milwaukee.
The Sixers travel to the Motor City perched as 8.5-point road favourites on the Friday NBA odds. The Pistons trail as distant +310 underdogs on the NBA moneyline, and the total for Friday’s contest is pegged at 223.5.

The 76ers have produced both on the hardwood and at the sportsbook during their strong start. Sporting a 6-1 straight-up record, the Sixers have covered the spread in each of their seven games to date, and enjoy a 9-0 ATS run in regular season action. However, fatigue could be a concern for a Pistons squad that has seen its depth devastated by injury ahead of its fourth game in six nights. Among the players sidelined for Friday are veteran Alec Burks, promising young point guard Jaden Ivey, and veteran forward Joe Harris. The club is also missing veterans Monte Morris and Bojan Bogdanovic, both of whom have seen their season debuts delayed by injury.
