UFC Fight Night Card, Odds: Mickey Gall vs. Mike Perry Prediction
The co-headliner of UFC’s Fight Night 174 card from Las Vegas on Saturday features a welterweight bout between Americans Mickey Gall and Mike Perry. The latter is a -275 favourite on the MMA odds with Gall at +200.
The 28-year-old Perry (13-6) appears to be a bit of a weird guy who has made some very insensitive comments over the years but has a big fan following because of his antics and that he’s an entertaining brawler in the Octagon. Perry is forgoing any formal coaching structure ahead of and during this bout and will have his girlfriend, Latory Gonzalez, as the lone person in his corner.
“I don’t think it’s a very bright idea, but I don’t think Mike’s the brightest guy,” Gall told MMA Junkie.

Gall vs. Perry UFC Vegas 4 Odds
Perry has thanked the UFC giving him a “weak a** opponent” in comparison to some of his most recent matchups and recently posted a photo on social media that showed his knuckle all beaten up and bloodied as well as cuts to his face, but the fight is still on.
“Platinum” has just two wins in his past seven trips to the Octagon. He last fought in December and lost by first-round TKO (head kick and punches) to Geoff Neal. Four of Perry’s six losses are by decision, while 11 of his 13 wins are by KO/TKO. He has never won a fight by submission. Perry’s fight time averages 10:10 and he lands 4.27 significant strikes per minutes (absorbs 4.50) with 0.61 takedowns per 15 minutes with 41 per cent accuracy. His takedown defence is 70 per cent.
Gall (6-2), also 28, is a much more accomplished grappler than Perry is. For example, in his UFC debut in February 2016, Gall won by submission in just 45 seconds – his money move is the rear-naked choke. Gall comes off an August 2019 unanimous decision victory over Salim Touahri. That is Gall’s only win by decision as his other five are by submission. One loss is by KO/TKO and one by decision.
Gall’s average fight time in the UFC is 7:09, and he lands 2.22 significant strikes per minute (absorbs 3.22) and averages 1.50 takedowns per 15 minutes with 38 per cent accuracy. His takedown defence is 44 per cent. Gall averages 2.7 submissions per 15 minutes.
UFC on ESPN Predictions: Gall vs. Perry
Clearly, this result is going to depend on whether Gall can get Perry on the ground. If Gall can’t, he’s going to lose. If he does, it’s a victory. Gall is three inches taller and has three inches of reach as well. We like him with a submission upset victory.
