In two weeks’ time, winter suffers a mortal blow. While the NFL teams finally rest after a hard season and hockey and basketball betting heats up, the Major League Baseball players are reaching into their trucks to find gloves and uniforms as they prepare for spring training.

Teams used always go to Florida for spring training but as baseball expanded and America changed the major leagues looked west, and so the Cactus League, an alternative to Florida’s Grapefruit League, was born.

American or National League affiliation doesn’t matter in spring training – generally, teams in the east stay east, and teams in the west stay west.

And although the spring training games aren’t as serious as big time MLB games, – not every team in a spring training game is an MLB team, with College teams often making up the numbers – Sports Interaction will have MLB bets available for spring training.
