It’s the biggest tournament of the year and the first major as the best golfers in the world head to Augusta, Georgia for the 2026 Masters.
While the biggest names like Scottie Scheffler, Jon Rahm and Rory McIlroy will justifiably garner the most attention during Masters week, we’re diving deeper into some value picks who could end up donning the green jacket on Sunday.
Let’s get into it with four dark horse masters picks.

The 2026 Masters: PGA Tour Betting Odds, Predictions
Cameron Young
Cameron Young is an attractive option at +3300 to win the Masters. He comes to Augusta Nation second in the FedExCup standings, he’s made the cut in all six starts this year and he’s coming off the biggest win of his career after capturing the Players a month ago.
Young has finished top-10 in two of four previous Masters and his win at TPC Sawgrass shows that he can not only hang with the best of the best, he can win.
The 28-year-old has been one of the most complete golfers on the PGA Tour this year, ranking fourth in Strokes Gained: Off the Tee and 15th in Green in Regulation, and his putter is solid enough to keep him in contention.
Min Woo Lee
Min Woo Lee has made the cut in three of four previous appearances at the Masters, with his best result being a T14 finish in 2022. That’s the year Lee eagled the second hole en route to a front-nine 30, matching the scoring record for that side of the course.
The Aussie is the 25th-ranked golfer in the world, making the cut in all seven of his starts this season. He’s had a great season to this point, posting three top-10 finishes, including T2 at Pebble Beach and T3 at the Houston Open two weeks ago.
A well rounded golfer, Lee ranks fifth in Strokes Gained: Total and he leads the PGA Tour in Total Driving. That sets him up as a reliable blend of distance and accuracy.
Si Woo Kim
Si Woo Kim is no stranger to Augusta, having played in eight Masters and making the cut in his last seven. He’s also having a good year in 2026, making the cut in all nine starts, including four top-10 finishes.
The 30-year-old South Korean leads the PGA Tour in driving accuracy and proximity to the hole, two stats that translate well at August National. Kim’s one drawback is poor putter play this season, although he was much better on the greens over his last two events.
The main reason I like Kim, however, is his proven shot selection. He knows when to play it safe and when to take a risk, which is absolutely crucial at this course.
Jake Knapp
An under-the-radar pick is Jake Knapp. The 31-year-old missed the cut at the Players this year, but in his six other starts he has five top-10 finishes and one T11 finish.
The caveat with Knapp is he doesn’t have much experience at Augusta National as his only Masters start was a T55 finish in 2024.
However, the stats back up Knapp. He’s leads the PGA Tour this season in Strokes Gained: Total, he’s second in Strokes Gained: Putting and he’s eighth in Driving Distance. Those are the kind of numbers you want at Augusta.
