Tiger-Cats vs. Stampeders Prediction: CFL Week 13 Point Spread, Odds
There is doubleheader football on Saturday in Week 13 of this CFL season, and the early game with a 3 p.m. ET kickoff is a crossover matchup as the Hamilton Tiger-Cats visit Calgary. The Stampeders are 5.5-point favourites on the CFL odds with a total of 59.5 points.
CFL Odds and Betting
Calgary enters Week 13 sitting last in the West Division at 4-6 and with just one home victory. Every other team in the league other than winless Ottawa has at least two victories at home. The Stampeders are +850 to win the Grey Cup. Hamilton (4-7) is third in the East Division and with just one road victory. Every other team in the league other than winless Ottawa has at least two away victories. The Ticats are +5000 to win the Grey Cup.
Saturday marks the second of two regular-season meetings. In Week 9, Hamilton was a 4.5-point home underdog (total was 58.5) when the Ticats lost 44-20 to the Stampeders. Calgary QB Vernon Adams Jr. threw for 252 yards and a touchdown, while Dejon Brissett had six catches for 109 yards and the touchdown. The Stamps also had two defensive scores, a 28-yard fumble return by Kyle Wilson and a 25-yard interception return from Derrick Moncreif. Tre Ford started at QB for Hamilton but was replaced by Harrison Frost in the second quarter. He finished 9-for-20 for 165 yards with a TD and INT.
Calgary has now won three in a row in the series, all by double digits, with Hamilton’s last win at home in October 2024. The over is 5-0 in the past five meetings.
Hamilton Tiger-Cats
Hamilton was a 4.5-point underdog last Saturday in Toronto and was routed 39-20 in rainy conditions. The Argos’ defence recorded four sacks and kept the Ticats out of the end zone after halftime, holding them to three points.
Hamilton coach Scott Milanovich opted to start Tre Ford at quarterback after an impressive relief performance the week prior of Harrison Frost – Frost is questionable this week. Ford completed 19 of 32 passes for 356 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions rushed four times for 33 yards against the Argos.
“I thought he did some good things,” Milanovich said. “I mean, certainly that’s what Tre needs to get better at is consistency in the passing game.”
Usual starter Bo Levi Mitchell (ankle) is scheduled to come off the IR ahead (ankle) of Saturday’s game but it’s not a sure thing he will.
Safety Stavros Katsantonis was a bright spot on defence with a second-quarter pick, his fifth of the season. That’s tied for the league lead.
Penalties likely will be addressed plenty this week. Hamilton had nine penalties accepted in the loss and most were at very inopportune times. The Argos had only one accepted penalty. Ford put many of the offensive penalty calls on his own shoulders.
The under is 4-1 in the Ticats’ past five away.
Calgary Stampeders
Calgary has not played since Week 11 when it was -3.5 at home and was upset by the B.C. Lions, 30-26. Quarterback Vernon Adams Jr. completed 13 of 23 passes for 148 yards and a touchdown while rushing three times for 25 yards before leaving with a head injury. Adams is in question for Saturday with a final call on Thursday.
Josh Love would get the call if Adams can’t go, with Love completing 6-for-10 for 58 yards with a pick in relief of Adams in Week 11.
Tailback Dedrick Mills also left that B.C. loss injured but has been practicing this week and should be good go to.
And wideout Reggie Begelton is trending toward making his season debut off injury. The three-time All-CFL selection hasn’t played since suffering a fractured leg in a Week 2 win over Toronto in the 2025 season.
The over is 6-1 in the Stamps’ past seven home games.
