Roughriders vs. Alouettes CFL Week 19 Betting Odds, Picks: Saskatchewan opens as underdog in Grey Cup rematch

A rematch of last year’s Grey Cup game highlights the Thanksgiving Monday sports betting schedule as the defending champion Saskatchewan Roughriders visit the league-leading Montreal Alouettes in CFL Week 19 betting action at Percival Molson Stadium.

The Alouettes are riding high after clinching the CFL East title with last week’s 37-10 rout of Winnipeg, which also extended the squad’s current win streak to two games.

The Roughriders find this mired in a three-game losing streak that has frustrated their bid to clinch a playoff spot. The Riders are coming off a 37-31 loss to Calgary last week, and have also dropped recent decisions to division rivals BC and Winnipeg, all of whom hold the edge over Saskatchewan in tiebreakers.

The Alouettes lead the way as 5.5-point favourites on the CFL Week 19 odds. The Stampeders trail as +200 CFL moneyline underdogs and the total is listed at 57.5.

Monday’s contest marks the first meeting between these teams since the Riders’ 25-17 win in the 2025 Grey Cup, and the first of two matchups in just six days. The Als have topped the Riders in five of their past seven regular-season clashes, including three of four at home, but were humbled in a 34-6 defeat when the Roughriders visited Montreal in August 2025. The OVER holds a slight 3-2 edge over their past five tilts, with the UNDER paying out in their past two meetings in Montreal.

The Alouettes have been a dominant force at home this season, averaging 38.5 points per game while compiling an 8-0 SU record, but last week’s victory is their only home win by double-digit margins since early August. However, they face a Riders squad that has struggled at both ends of the field while surrendering 34 points per game over their past two outings and averaged just 16.3 points per game while losing four straight on the road.

Saskatchewan Roughriders

KeeSean Johnson’s injury has emerged as a major concern for this squad going into Montreal. Saskatchewan’s leading receiver missed Thursday’s practice with an ankle injury suffered against Calgary, and head coach Corey Mace described him as a potential game-time decision at best. So far this season, Johnson has made 101 catches for 1,243 yards and seven touchdowns.

However, Samuel Emilus looks like he is getting closer to a return. The receiver has missed five consecutive games with a lower-leg injury but was a limited participant Thursday. Mace described him as very close to returning, without confirming his availability Monday.

That’s good news for quarterback Trevor Harris, who is coming off a 453-yard, four-TD performance in last week’s loss to Calgary after tossing just two total TDs in his previous three outings.

Montreal Alouettes

With top spot in the CFL East, the Alouettes can now afford to be patient with players dealing with injuries. Running back Travis Theis and tight end Regis Cibasu missed Thursday’s practice, with knee and elbow injuries respectively, and their status for Monday’s game is uncertain.

Davis Alexander is coming off another monster performance versus the Blue Bombers, throwing for 440 yards and one score after failing to reach 300 passing yards in five straight outings. But with little to play for, the Alouettes may opt to give backups Dustin Crum or Taylor Snead some valuable playing time under centre on Monday.
