RedBlacks vs. Blue Bombers Prediction: CFL Week 11 Point Spread, Odds
The standalone Friday night game in Week 11 around the CFL is a crossover matchup as the East Division Ottawa RedBlacks try again for that first win of 2026 as they visit Winnipeg. The West Division Blue Bombers are 6.5-point favourites on the CFL odds with a total of 56.5.
CFL Odds and Betting
Friday’s game will mark the exact halfway point of the regular season for both these teams as they play their ninth of 18 games. Winnipeg and Calgary are tied for third in the West Division with eight points, but the Blue Bombers have played one fewer game. Ottawa is dead last in the East at 0-8, the only winless club in the CFL. The team’s 186 points scored are easily the fewest. Winnipeg is second-to-last in scoring with 204 total points.
This will conclude the regular-season series as in Week 7, the Blue Bombers were -4.5 at Ottawa (total was 53.5) and won 36-34 in overtime. Former Redblacks QB Dru Brown, traded earlier this season, dominated for Winnipeg in completing 27-of-43 for 317 yards and two scores. He led the Blue Bombers back from a 26-12 deficit in the fourth quarter by hitting Nic Demski and Pokey Wilson for touchdowns.
The clubs traded field goals in the first OT, while the Redblacks batted down a Jake Maier two-point conversion pass on what would prove to be the game’s final play to win it. The Winnipeg defence forced four consecutive Ottawa punts before OT with the Redblacks totalling just 19 yards on those drives.
The Blue Bombers have won four straight games in the series with Ottawa’s last victory at home in June 2024. The under is 6-2 in the past eight meetings in Winnipeg.
Ottawa RedBlacks
Winless Ottawa was +7.5 at defending Grey Cup champion Saskatchewan last Friday and it went about as expected in a 42-20 loss – the Redblacks’ first game since making a change at defensive coordinator. It was their 14th straight regular-season loss with the last win on Sept. 5, 2025.
“It’s been more of a challenge than I anticipated,” said first-year coach Ryan Dinwiddie. “But you know that’s part of it.”
Ottawa actually led the Riders 14-13 early in the third with that defence under new coordinator Jeff Reinebold playing well, but then Saskatchewan had four consecutive touchdown drives to take control.
Jake Maier completed 31 of 43 passes for 339 yards, two touchdowns and one interception in the loss.
On Monday, Ottawa released defensive backs Demerio Houston and Amari Henderson. Houston had appeared in all eight games and had 23 tackles, while Henderson had 20 tackles in six games. The club signed American defensive back Kenzel Lawler.
Winnipeg Blue Bombers
Winnipeg comes out of a bye week on a two-game losing streak and looking to get back over .500.
That seems even more likely with thew news that starting quarterback Zach Collaros is expected to return after missing the past four with a neck injury sustained in Week 5 as he has been a full participant in practice.
The Blue Bombers are 2-2 in his four starts with Collaros completing 71.8 per cent of his passes for 985 yards, five touchdowns and three picks. Ex-Redblack Dru Brown had started the past four games.
Star tailback Brady Oliveira was a limited participant in practice early this week but should play. He’s third in the league with 658 rushing yards and enters with back-to-back 100-yard games.
All eyes will be on the defence this week as the Bombers have allowed a combined 87 points in the two-game skid, both at home, although special teams was responsible for some of that. Winnipeg is last in the CFL in run defence, allowing a whopping 141.1 yards per game.
