Lions vs. Stampeders Prediction: CFL Week 11 Point Spread, Odds
A West Division matchup kicks off Week 11 around the CFL on Thursday night as the last-place B.C. Lions visit the fourth-place Calgary Stampeders, who are -5.5 favourites on the CFL odds with a total of 63.5 points that is the highest of the week.
CFL Odds and Betting
We have officially reached the halfway point of the 2026 CFL regular season as every team will have played at least half of its 18-game slate by late Saturday night – no Sunday games this week. B.C. is last in the West Division with six points, while Calgary technically sits tied for third with Winnipeg on eight points, but the Stamps have played an extra game.
Friday marks the second of three regular-season meetings between the clubs, with the finale in Week 20 also at McMahon Stadium. In Week 5 at Apple Bowl Stadium as part of the Touchdown Kelowna Festival, the Lions were 2.5-point favourites but lost 41-33 to the Stamps (total was 58.5). Calgary quarterback Vernon Adams Jr. threw for 229 yards and three scores against his former club, while Tyreik McAllister returned a punt 90 yards for a touchdown. The Stamps had lost four straight in the series.
Nathan Rourke threw for 462 yards with three scores and a pick in the losing effort. The Lions out-gained the Stamps 479-288 but special teams, turnovers and penalties (10 for 118 yards) were an issue. B.C. couldn’t play on its true home field of B.C. Place because of the World Cup. The total has landed over in the past four meetings.
BC Lions
The Lions were -4.5 last week at home vs. Hamilton and failed to cover in the 27-24 victory – B.C. has won back-to-back games for the first time this season and those have followed a five-game losing streak.
Starting QB Nathan Rourke returned from a multiple-game absence due to a shoulder injury and completed 22 of 39 for 370 yards, two TDs and a pick. Rourke hit Justin McInnis on a crucial 33-yard second-down completion on the final drive that led to the game-winning field goal with 28 seconds to go.
McInnis had five catches for 159 yard and a score, while fellow wideout Jevon Cottoy played for the first time since Week 2 due to injury and had seven catches for 109 yards.
Tailback Zander Horvath is up to 10 touchdowns on the year after scoring on the ground and via reception against the Ticats.
The B.C. offensive line didn’t allow a sack, while the defence been playing “extremely well,” via head coach Buck Pierce. “I think they’ve found an identity.”
The Lions are 8-1 ATS in their past nine in Calgary.
Calgary Stampeders
Calgary was -1.5 last week at Toronto and lost 33-30 on Brady Lidster’s 11-yard field goal with 11 seconds remaining. It was the third straight road game for the Stamps and the home opener for the Argos.
Lidster’s winner came after Toronto’s defence stopped Dedrick Mills on third-and-1 on the previous Calgary possession.
QB Vernon Adams Jr. had his worst game of the season, completing only 12 of 25 for 159 yards and his first two picks of the year – one was a Hail Mary to close the game. Adams had gone 299 straight pass attempts without an INT.
The Stamps’ defence generated five takeaways against Toronto, including a 67-yard interception returned for touchdown by Adrian Greene. Canadian cornerback Ben Labrosse had two picks.
Overall, the Stampeders scored 14 points off Toronto giveaways, but it really should have been more. And the Argos scored 21 points on special teams. The over is 5-0 in Calgary’s past six at home.
