This will be the second and final matchup for the regular season between the Blue Bombers and the Lions. Back in week nine, the Bombers handed the Leos a 30-9 loss at BC Place. Quarterback Zach Collaros had his best passing game of the season throwing for 417 yards and two touchdowns.

CFL Odds and Betting

History points to the Bombers in this head-to-head match. Entering this game, the Bombers have won three-straight including taking a pair of games from the Leos back in the 2019 season. The three victories, the Blue and Gold averaged 30+ points in those games.

The Bombers are now 7-0 in games within the West division. No Bomber team has ever finished a season unbeaten against its division. The Lions are 1-5 against West teams this season.

If the Blue Bombers win this weekend against the Lions, they will clinch first place in the West Division and will host the Western Final on December 5.

Of note, the Bombers are heavy favourites to win the Grey Cup. All Grey Cup Odds are posted here.

BC Lions

This hasn’t exactly been a banner year for the BC Lions but with a 4-5 record and five games left, it’s make it or break it for the club.

Last Saturday night at home the Lions handed their biggest loss of the year when the Stampeders routed them 39-10. The Lions looked very shaky coming off a bye week, and have now lost their last three games by a combined score of 100-43.

Overall, the Lions had 309 yards of net offence versus the Stampeders. However, one positive was the play for Bryan Burnham. Burnham had seven catches for 93 yards, including a 43-yard reception in the first quarter, but the rest of the receivers combined for 90 yards.

Winnipeg Blue Bombers

It wasn’t a masterpiece in Edmonton last Friday night, but a win is a win and now the Bombers find themselves with nine wins against one loss – tops in the CFL.

The Bombers punched their ticket to the post season with a 26-16 win over the Elks last week. It was the team’s seven straight win of the year and the club’s best start since the 1960 season where the team started off the year 10-0.

One area of major concern for the Bombers is the health of star Running back Andrew Harris. The powerful Canadian back left last week’s game with the Elks with an injury. He was replaced by fellow Winnipegger Brady Oliveira, who raced for 105 yards on 16 carries. Because of the strength at the running back position, the team will only dress Harris for this game if he is 100 percent ready to go.

The team had a busy week off the field as they signed former All-Star Defensive Back Winston Rose and traded for all-star place-kicker Sergio Castillo.
