CFL Odds: Ajou Ajou expected to rejoin Saskatchewan Roughriders after Colts release
It’s the name so nice, you have to say it twice. That’s right, Canadian receiver Ajou Ajou looks primed to return north of the border.
The Brooks, Alberta native is expected to rejoin the Saskatchewan Roughriders after he was waived by the Indianapolis Colts this week.

Ajou Ajou
The 23-year-old Ajou was selected 59th overall by Saskatchewan in the 2024 CFL draft after a college career that saw him suit up for the Clemson Tigers and the South Florida Bulls.
Ajou dressed in 12 games for the Riders last season, recording 20 receptions for 307 yards and a pair of touchdowns before ending the season on the six-game injured list.
He began his college career at Clemson, playing in 22 games and recording eight receptions for 114 yards and one touchdown. Transferring to South Florida in 2022, Ajou was limited to one game before missing the rest of the season with a groin injury. He spent his last college season at Garden City Community College, finishing with 17 receptions for 186 yards and two TDs in seven games.
Ajou was part of the final roster cuts for the Colts on Tuesday. In three pre-season games with Indianapolis, he had four receptions for 27 yards.
Ajou joins a Riders receiving group that includes the likes of KeeSean Johnson (794 receiving yards, three TDs), Dohnte Meyers (673 yards, six TDs) and Joe Robustelli (373 yards, two TDs).
The addition of Ajou is a boost to a Riders team that boasts the best record in the CFL at 8-2. They currently have the second-shortest Grey Cup odds at +300.
