Blue Bombers vs. Roughriders Prediction: CFL Week 13 Point Spread, Odds
Saskatchewan is coming in off a rare loss, 32-15 to Calgary, but they still boast the best record in the CFL at 8-2. The 6-4 Bombers have played below their usual standard this season, however they capped off a second straight win last week, 26-13 in Montreal.
The Roughriders are 5.5-point favourites to win on the CFL odds, with the total pegged at 51.5.
CFL Odds and Betting
Winnipeg has taken three straight games in head-to-head action, including a 38-22 win in last year’s East Division final. In fact, the Bombers have been somewhat of a playoff curse for Saskatchewan as they’ve eliminated the Riders in their last four postseason appearances.
Winnipeg has been a totally different team on the road this season, going 2-3 straight up compared to 4-1 SU at home. They’ve been fairly consistent for bettors, however, going 3-2 against the spread both at home and on the road.
The Riders are undefeated against every team other than Calgary this season, leading to a 4-1 SU record at home and on the road. They’ve also been a surprisingly solid cover option at 7-3 ATS overall.
Last week’s stumble in Calgary dropped Saskatchewan out of top spot as the Grey Cup favourite, but they still hold the second-shortest Grey Cup odds at +300 on the CFL futures board. The Blue Bombers sit middle-of-the-pack at +1000 as they look to reach a sixth straight title game.

Winnipeg Blue Bombers
Canadian running back Brady Oliveira was on beast mode last week in Montreal, recording 210 total yards. Oliveira led the game in rushing yards (137, 1 TD) and was also the Bombers’ top receiver (73 yards). Quarterback Zach Collaros finished with 263 passing yards and one touchdown.
One area of concern for Winnipeg has been the play of Collaros, who leads the CFL with 10 interceptions to go along with just 10 touchdown passes. It’s a strange anomaly as Collaros has the third-best completion percentage (75.3) in the CFL yet hasn’t thrown multiple TDs in a game since Week 4.
Collaros will look to bounce back with a very different looking receiving group this week. Jerreth Sterns is on the one-game injured list and Nic Demski has been a limited participant at practice. Meanwhile, Dalton Schoen is set to return from the six-game injured list and the team just signed former Rider Kyran Moore.
Saskatchewan Roughriders
The Riders took a one-point lead into halftime last week before being shutout 18-0 in the second half. Whatever Calgary is doing, the rest of the league should take notice as it was their second win over Saskatchewan this season after they also won 24-10 in Regina in Week 6.
Trevor Harris threw for 212 yards with two TDs and two interceptions in last week’s loss, his first multi-interception game of the season. After spending much of the season as the favourite to win Most Outstanding Player, Harris has dropped to the third-shortest odds behind Hamilton’s Bo Levi Mitchell and Calgary’s Vernon Adams Jr.
You can’t overlook Saskatchewan’s defence when you look the team’s success this season. The Riders rank within the top two in points allowed, offensive yards allowed, rushing yards allowed, sacks and interceptions.
