Blue Bombers vs. Stampeders Prediction: CFL Week 16 Point Spread, Odds
This game marks the last game of the regular season. The Blue Bombers will get a bye week, next week as they are already hosting the west division final. While, the Stampeders will travel to Regina next week to face the Roughriders in the west semi-final.
CFL Odds and Betting
These two teams last meet in late August in Winnipeg. The Bombers were 7-point favourites in that contest, and the Stampeders came close to winning that game in an 18-16 Winnipeg win.
The Bombers enter this game on a 3-game winning streak against the Stamps dating back to October 25, 2019.
The over between these two teams is a decent 5-2 in the last 7 games played in Calgary. Sports Interaction established the opening total at 41.5 for this game.
Of note, the Bombers are heavy favourites to win the Grey Cup. All Grey Cup Odds are posted here.
Winnipeg Blue Bombers
The Bombers fell 28-14 to the Alouettes last weekend in Montreal and they learned a lot of things about their player personal situation. Quarterback Sean McGuire, made his first CFL start, and with that made a number of poor decisions that resulted in four interceptions in the loss and showed one thing for certain. If Zach Collaros goes down with any sort of illness or injury, this Bombers team is in deep trouble.
The loss ended a nine-game winning streak — but when the team fields its regular lineup there’s no reason to believe the Bombers won’t be back in dominating fashion. The question is, where will they dress that dominating team? Best guess? The Bombers will split quarterback duties in Calgary and most of the starters will not see the field in the second half on Saturday night.

Calgary Stampeders
Despite not being able to move up or down the standings, the Stampeders insist they will play to win Saturday’s game against the Blue Bombers. The Stamps know they will be heading to Saskatchewan next weekend, so there is some questions on who and who they won’t play on Saturday night.
Best guess? Bo Levi Mitchell will start this game and exit early. Both backup quarterbacks, Jake Maier and Michael O’Connor took serious reps earlier in the week and both will play in this contest.
