Sitting firmly on top of the West Division, the Blue Bombers have already clinched a post season bye and will host the Western Final on Sunday, December 5. The goal for this team will be staying healthy while facing an Alouettes team that is in a fight for first place in the East.

The Blue Bombers enter this game on a 10-game winning streak. They are 8-3 against the spread and a perfect 6-0 on home field. The Alouettes are 6-5 on the season and 5-6 against the spread and an impressive 4-2 on the road.

These two teams have played five of the last six games to the over. This game will mark the first of back-to-back games for these teams. Next Saturday afternoon they will play in Montreal.

Of note, the Bombers are heavy favourites to win the Grey Cup. All Grey Cup Odds are posted here.

Montreal Alouettes

The Alouettes saw their four-game winning streak come to an end last Saturday, as they fell to the Roughriders 19-14. Quarterback Trevor Harris saw his first action with the Als in the loss. He was 12-of-15 for 123 yards and a touchdown while coming off the bench in relief of Matthew Shiltz.

Harris will start Saturday’s game versus the Bombers. Head Coach Khari Jones confirmed his starter this week at practice. The 35-year-old appeared in six games with the Elks earlier this season, throwing 1568 yards, six touchdowns and five interceptions before he was dealt to the Alouettes on October 17.

Of note, Defensive Lineman David Menard was named one of the top performers of the last month. In five games, Menard made nine defensive tackles, earned six sacks and forced two fumbled. Entering week 14 he’s ranked second in the CFL with eight sacks.

Winnipeg Blue Bombers

The Bombers are coming off a well-deserved bye week after a 45-0 destruction of the BC Lions the following Friday night. They are 5-1-1 against the spread in their last seven games following a bye week.

Quarterback Zach Collaros was named a CFL performer of the month in October. He completed 72.1 percent of his passes for 1101 yards and eight touchdowns. This season Collaros leads the league in completion percentage (71 percent) and passing yards (2832) and passing touchdowns (18).

The Bombers defence has allowed a CFL-best 126 points against this season, for an average of 11.45 points per game. There is a very unique prop at Sports Interaction involving the Winnipeg defence. Will the Bombers defence allow a 4th quarter touchdown? It hasn’t happened yet. Currently, yes is paying -220 and no is paying +154. You can find that prop here.
