Alouettes vs. Blue Bombers Prediction: CFL Week 13 Point Spread, Odds
Week 13 around the CFL Kicks off not with a Thursday game this week but instead on Friday night in a crossover matchup as the Montreal Alouettes visit the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. The Als are 6.5-point favourites on the CFL odds with a total of 59.5 that is tied for the lowest of the week.
CFL Odds and Betting
Entering Week 13, Montreal has the CFL’s best record at 9-1, is lapping the field in the East Division with a four-game lead and is +190 favourite to win the Grey Cup. At 5-5, Winnipeg is probably wishing it was in the same East Division as Montreal instead of the West. Why? In the East, the Blue Bombers would be tied for second while in the deeper East they are fourth. Winnipeg is +1500 to win the Grey Cup.
Friday marks the first of two regular-season meetings with Montreal at Winnipeg in Week 18. The Blue Bombers won both regular-season meetings in 2025, including 19-10 in the lone home matchup behind Sergio Castillo’s four field goals in the final week of the regular season.
But the Als got their revenge in the playoffs with a 42-33 victory in the Eastern semifinal despite blowing a 22-point second-quarter lead. Davis Alexander threw for 384 yards and a touchdown while rushing for a score. Zach Collaros passed for 304 yards, one touchdown and one interception in the losing effort.
Montreal Alouettes
Montreal closed at -14.5 at home last week against winless Ottawa and rolled to a 46-16 win, the team’s seventh straight win and fourth in a row by double digits. It was also the Als’ 14th straight win over the Redblacks.
Quarterback Davis Alexander, the CFL Most Outstanding Player favourite, completed 20 of 23 for 260 yards and two scores – he was pulled in the fourth quarter with the game out of hand.
Tyson Philpot caught both those touchdown passes, while running back Travis Theis went over 100 total yards for the fifth time in his last six games with 88 yards rushing and a TD and 33 yards receiving. Philpot leads the CFL by far with 1,229 yards receiving and nine touchdown grabs.
But the defence was really the story with five takeaways — Kabion Ento had a pick-six.
The Alouettes in this one look to tie franchise record for longest winning streak in one season, which occurred during the 2022 season.
“There are a lot of people that are saying that we’re peaking too early, but every game we get better,” said linebacker Geoff Cantin-Arku, who had eight tackles, one sack and a forced fumble vs. Ottawa. “I’m just curious to see how good we can actually be.”
Montreal is 6-0 ATS in its past six games.
Winnipeg Blue Bombers
Winnipeg was a 5.5-point underdog last week in Edmonton; I projected the Blue Bombers to lose 30-24 but they lost 22-19. The Blue Bombers blew a 16-0 halftime lead, fell behind and tied the game late only to watch Edmonton kick the walk-off winning field goal from 40 yards out.
Winnipeg ran 40 offensive plays and had 300 net yards and 16 first downs in the first half but only 19 net yards and two first downs in the second half. Sergio Castillo was 4-for-4 on field goals with two makes from 50-plus yards. He is now the CFL record holder for most 50-yard field goals in a career with 43.
Zach Collaros was 16-of-23 for 190 yards and a TD to Tim White in the first two quarters but 3-for-7 for 29 yards after the break.
Star Bombers tailback Brady Oliveira finished with 118 yards rushing on 16 carries and had two catches for 11 yards. He was in some question due to injury and is again this week.
Safety Redha Kramdi, who has been out since July 19 due to injury, might return for this one.
The Blue Bombers are 7-1 ATS in their past eight as home dogs.
