Boxing Odds: Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua

Breaking news out of the Boxing world, Wednesday morning saw a blockbuster agreement between Britain’s rival champions.

According to multiple sources, Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury have agreed to a two-fight deal to unify the Heavyweight division.

Early boxing odds have Tyson Fury as the -200 favourite over Joshua in the first fight. The date and venue have yet to be determined, but the talk is it could happen in the summer of 2021.

Joshua won back his WBA, IBF & WBO titles when he defeated Andy Ruiz Jr. last December, while Fury took the WBC championship from Deontay Wilder in February.

Promoter Eddie Hearn says there is still a lot to overcome as both fighters are expected to enter the ring against different opponents prior to this showdown.

Hearn says, “It’s the biggest fight ever in British boxing. It doesn’t get bigger, and there will never be a bigger fight in our generation. Two guys, very different, who fight differently, have experienced different things and have come back from adversity.”
