Boxing Odds: Logan Paul vs. Dillon Danis Prediction

There is a very intriguing boxing card from the AO Arena in Manchester, England, on Saturday afternoon Eastern time with the co-headline bout featuring former YouTuber-turned-boxer Logan Paul against MMA fighter Dillon Danis with Paul as a heavy -450 favourite and Danis at +360 in a matchup of Americans.

Check out all our boxing odds as they develop.

Paul vs. Danis Boxing Odds

It’s possible this fight, scheduled for six rounds, doesn’t go off Saturday because during a press conference Thursday, Logan Paul threw an bottle at the legs of Dillon Danis, and “El Jefe” responded by hitting Paul over the head with a microphone, leaving Paul bloodied and with a swollen cheek area.

Was that legitimate animus or simply a bit of showmanship to get more pay-per-view buys? Probably a little of both but these two have been feuding publicly for months. Danis has even been taking aim Paul’s fiancée, model Nina Agdal, including posting photos and clips of Agdal on social media with various men. Agdal got a temporary restraining order in September.

Logan Paul says the fight will go on, but boxing brother Jake says he’s ready to step in if needed. “Dillon can’t escape me. The fight is very much happening, the stakes just got higher,” Logan Paul wrote on X. There are also unconfirmed reports that Paul might have missed weight – the limit was 200 pounds.

Drake Puts Big Bet on Paul

Canadian rapper and noted Raptors fan Drake loves to place huge wagers and has confirmed he dropped $850,000 on Paul to knock out Danis for a payout of $1,351,500. “Never bet against personal vendetta and settling scores,” Drake wrote on Instagram along with a laughing emoji.

The 6-foot-2 Paul, who has a reach of 76 inches, has officially fought just once in the ring, losing to Olajide William Olatunji – otherwise known as KSI — by split decision in Los Angeles in November 2019. Paul did face Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition in June 2021, and the 28-year-old Paul has also been seen somewhat regularly in the WWE over the past year-plus.

The 30-year-old Danis, who is 6-foot with a reach of 72 inches, is a Brazilian jiu-jitsu champion and training partner of UFC superstar Conor McGregor. Danis is 2-0 in his MMA career, both victories coming in Bellator and via first-round submission. This will be his first boxing contest.

In the co-main event, KSI, who helped pioneer the influencer boxing trend with the Paul brothers, will return to the ring “officially” for the first time since that win over Logan Paul and will face British reality star Tommy Fury, who is the half-brother of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury and trained by Tyson’s father John Fury.

The 24-year-old Tommy Fury is 9-0 as a boxer with four knockouts. He beat Jake Paul, who is the superior boxer compared to older brother Logan, via split decision back in February in a minor upset.  Fury is -350 for Saturday with KSI at +260.
