The Las Vegas Aces are coming off their second consecutive win, this time against the Minnesota Lynx. The final score in that game was 113-89, and the key player for the Aces was Kelsey Plum.

Plum came away with 40 points and two rebounds during just 31 minutes of court time. The team’s best player is still A’ja Wilson, who is averaging 19.4 points and 9.3 rebounds per matchup.

It seems to be more important and interesting to mention that the Aces second last game was a loss to the Dallas Wings. It was a close one, the Wings took it with a final score of 80-78 and the game was in Dallas. At home, the Aces remain undefeated this year.

Los Angeles Sparks

The Los Angeles Sparks are coming off of their fifth loss in a row, a 78-72 matchup against the league-last Phoenix Mercury. Nneka Ogwumike had a decent game for the Sparks, getting 20 points and 14 rebounds during her 37 minutes on the court. Jasmine Thomas was also effective, grabbing 10 points and four assists in 29 minutes of game play.

The Sparks are spiralling, mostly due to their ever-growing injury list.

Against the Mercury, the team lost starter Dearica Hamby, who went down with a sprained ankle. She joins Lexie Brown, Layshia Clarendon, Chiney Ogwumike and Nia Clouden on the list of players either sick or injured who will not be available for Wednesday’s clash with the Las Vegas Aces.
