Paris Saint-Germain vs. Bayern Munich: Champions League Preview and Prediction

We’ve reached the UEFA Champions League semifinals, and each of the remaining squads comes from a different country.

On one side, Arsenal will take on Atletico Madrid, while Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich go head-to-head.

Bayern and PSG have the shortest odds to win it all, so we should get a finals-like atmosphere over two legs.

The first game takes place this Tuesday, April 28, at the Parc des Princes in Paris, and I have a best bet for the game, so let’s get into it.

Paris Saint-Germain vs. Bayern Munich Champions League Odds and Betting Trends

Bayern carry -135 odds to advance to the UCL Final, while PSG are slight +110 underdogs on the Champions League odds. However, the Parisians are small +135 favourites on the three-way moneyline compared to the Bavarians’ +175 price; the draw has +290 odds. The game total (Over/Under) is 3.5, and both sides have a -110 price. The oddsmakers expect both attacks to be on full display, as ‘Both Teams to Score – Yes’ has -310 odds compared to the ‘No’ at +135.

To no one’s surprise, Harry Kane has +115 odds to score, as the English striker has scored in 13 of his last 14 starts and in seven consecutive matches overall. However, PSG’s Ousmane Dembele (+145 to score) and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (+170 to score) aren’t too far behind Kane. Kvaratskhelia scored in the opening quarterfinal leg against Liverpool, and Dembele will be a constant threat due to his pace.

Paris Saint-Germain

PSG enters this tie after dismantling Liverpool over two legs in the quarterfinals, winning 4-0 on aggregate. The French side fell to Lyon in Ligue 1 after eliminating Liverpool, but they bounced back domestically, winning two games against Nantes and Angers by a 3-0 scoreline. They now have a six-point lead with four games to go and will feel as if they’re nearly champions. Luckily for PSG, they get to host the opening leg at the Parc des Princes, where they’ve gone unbeaten in the UCL in seven straight matches. The last time they fell at home in Europe actually came against Bayern in the group stage on November 4, 2025, 2-1.

Although Bayern was victorious in the first meeting, PSG is now hitting its form. The French side handily took care of Liverpool in the quarterfinals, and they may even get Vitinha back for this game. A major key for Luis Enrique’s side will be their defence, and PSG have kept six clean sheets in their last eight competitive outings. If this is a low-scoring game, the result should favour the hosts.

Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich have already won the Bundesliga title, but that didn’t stop them from putting in a complete performance over the weekend. After going down 3-0 against Mainz on Saturday, the Bavarians battled back to win 4-3, marking their ninth straight game and extending their unbeaten streak to 19 games. They grabbed a win here already, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they can take a lead back to the Allianz Arena.

I already discussed Kane and his constant scoring threat, but Bayern has more than just the English star. Michael Olise (13 goals + 18 assists) and Luis Díaz (15 goals + 13 assists) are both major weapons on the wing, and the Germans have constantly scored this season. Bayern will need to score goals if they want to advance, as they’ve allowed a goal in 11 of their last 14 games in all competitions.

Champions League Prediction: Who Will Win Paris Saint-Germain vs. Bayern Munich?

Over two legs, I expect Bayern to advance, so betting on that market at -135 odds is my best bet. Even if this game ends in a draw, the Germans should take care of business in front of their home crowd. For this match, I’m taking Harry Kane to score (+115), as the English international has been on an absolute roll. PSG’s defence has been strong at home, but stopping Kane will prove too difficult.

Best Bet: Harry Kane to score (+115)

Score Prediction: Paris Saint-Germain 1 | Bayern Munich 2
