Inter Milan vs. Bodo/Glimt UEFA Champions League playoff round odds and betting trends

Bodo/Glimt ran away with an astonishing victory against the Italian giants in their first and only ever matchup against each other in football history. Aside from the significant win, this is the first time in their club history that they’ve progressed to the knockout round. Since the reformat of the UCL in 2003/04, the three-time champions of Inter have made the Round of 16 on 12 occasions.

Inter Milan’s odds of winning it all slipped to +4000, but they head to the San Siro with heads held high at -375 odds to at least win the second leg; they’ll need a goal differential of +3 to move on to the Round of 16, and their odds of advancing are -125. Bodo/Glimt, despite being two goals ahead, are +825 to secure the win and +100 to advance.

Bodo/Glimt

Unusual for most European teams at this time of year, the 2026 Eliteserien League has not started yet. Last year’s second-place team in the Norwegian League, FK Bodo/Glimt, is making a spectacular run in the UCL, drawing Dortmund before beating Manchester City, Atletico Madrid, and Inter up to this point in the competition. The team has surprised many opponents and fans with eight goals in their last three Champions League games, and if that trend continues, Inter could be embarrassed by the inaugural opponents on Tuesday.

Kasper Hogh, the 6 ‘1″ Danish striker, has been a driving force for Bodo/Glimt in the UCL this year with five goals and four assists in 11 matches so far after racking up 17 for his team last year in the Eliteserien. He’s set to score anytime at +295, with teammate Andreas Helmersen (one goal in the UCL) being another one to watch out for at +380. Bodo/Glimt are visitors in this matchup, which could be a huge difference maker, as holding on to a two-goal lead is easier said than done for 90’.

Inter Milan

It’s fitting to say that last year’s finalists gave themselves quite the handicap at this stage of the tournament, but advancing isn’t out of the picture. Including their most recent UCL loss to the Norwegians, Inter has only dropped four of their last 20 games in all competitions, two of them being home games against Liverpool and Arsenal. While the Italians are allowing more goals than usual in recent games, they’ve also found a better goalscoring form, with 13 goals in their last five games.

Marcus Thuram leads in likelihood to score anytime during the matchup (-125) with two to his name already. The Nerazzurri will be missing starting striker Lautaro Martinez (four goals) after he suffered a calf injury against the Norwegians in their last match, but they’ve got plenty of filler personnel, including Ange-Yoan Bonny (+100) and Francesco Esposito (+100) to get the job done.

UEFA Champions League playoff round prediction: Who will win Inter Milan vs. Bodo/Glimt?

Latauro Martinez’s absence from the Italian side may be the biggest factor in this fixture, but regardless, Inter still have adequate offensive options, netting two in their most recent Serie A match on Saturday without him. Playing at the San Siro will also give Inter a boost, especially considering they’ve only had one home loss in 2026 to top contenders, Arsenal.

Bodo/Glimt may be playing spectacularly due to their lack of games on their schedule, allowing for better rest time and mental focus, but with the Italians backed into a corner at home, I foresee the Nerazzuri advancing in the end. Count on a 4-1 win for the Inter in this one as I’d never expect the battle-hardened Italians to go down without a fight.
